We can do it and we have the draw to do it i reckon. 28 points would be a good season.

4 from 6 is definitely achievable. Even the cows at LO.
I think we're similar in strength to panthers, titans and warriors so its in our hands.

Dragons have a very tough draw and might not win another game. So youve got tigers, panthers, warriors and titans playing for the final 2 spots. We play all 3 and probably cant afford to lose any of those games. Panthers have the softest draw. Titans still have to play sharks and cowboys. Ive got a feeling its going to come down to us and the titans battling it out for 8th place.

Broncos aren't safe yet either. The good thing is, our fate is in our hands.

Hope we grab this chance with both claws!

If we win on Saturday we will be 2 points behind them, who would have believed that with the way they started the year. But they got newcastle and then the eels coming up. So they will be there, but wont last long if they cant turn it around.

I would pay $100 to see Newcastle beat them.

Sorry got it mixed up, they play dragons. I reckon newcastle would give them a better chance at an upset than the dragons.

Most games expect this week look 50/50 if we are at full strength.

This is the game that i really expect us to win. Eels are shot.

No Foran, Norman, Radradra, they cant make semis anymore. Definitly there for the taking. Last week means nothing if we cant back it up this week. Must win gsme for us.

Probably because the plan going in was for Edwards to play hooker but he had to be used cover the injuries to Grant/Lawrence.

Yes Edward's at hooker :roll

Yes and thats because Taylor has seen him there in ISP on a couple of occasions getting to dummy half before the hooker got there

All a joke this recent selection, Felise was going top gun and get gets dropped for a bloke who under performs in ISP at best

all a shamble

JJ is cause of salary cap limits is he not???

TBH i dont know and i'd be surprised if it is as he has already played a few games in the top grade and they werent to back fill injuries..

Id rather have sironen improving in first grade then lovett or edwards. Havent seen anything from either player to suggest they are going to be anything special. I reckon it was an attitude thing with sironen, surely he has been in reggies long enough.

Every game that someone outside the top 25 plays in first grade causes a hit to the 2nd tier salary cap because of the match payment.

But with Edwards, Felise and Sironen being fringe first graders who have played both, would it matter who was selected.

yeah me too, i'd rather Sirro over Lovett and JJ over Edwards.

Sirro has the halfs ball playing ability and i did see him grubber nicely in goal in the game before last in ISP.

He was injured and since recovery has played enough games in reserve grade to warrant selection, clearly over Edwards

Sironen is being pushed out of the club like Farah. He took an option in his favour for next year.
It stems from not really hitting potential and comments made but by Big Siro at Taylor. Taylor's in very tight with the Chairwoman through his wife's friendship its how he got the job. He was a poor applicant no one else would touch him, even Parra backflipped when Arthur was available.

The option for Sironen was for 2018…Already under contract for 2017...

Not sure how true it is or not, but i heard that Parramatta actually filmed a little clip introducing Taylor to their members as their new coach. For whatever reason they didnt go through with it. Imagine the Eels got Taylor and we got Brad Arthur, how life would be so diferrent right now lol.

I haven't read every post just the first few ,but rankin is a halve ,,so it's logical JT would throw him into dummy half when needed ,,,what training does he need to pass to whoever calls for the pill ?

I'm not so sure. Liddle had to get a special dispensation to play due to injuries, but Felise was playing at the same time ahead of uninjured players. Doesn't that infer he can play firsts? (I honestly don't know. The club and NRL are less than transparent on the matter.)

Yes, that strong bond between Foran and Arthur has solved all problems.

Look at the Eels before all this crap about salary cap came out. Top coach and nothing but class. Look how he handlded the Foran issue, nothing but class. We could definitly learn alot from him. He is 10 times the coach JT would ever be. If Brad Arthur went on the open market how many clubs would chase him? If JT went on the open market how many clubs would want him?? I think you know the answer and that says it all lol.
