JT HAS NO CLUE - JUST ASK RANKIN

Brad Arthur wouldn't get near my club if I had a choice of coaches . What's has he done ..manage a team that cheated the cap …he hasn't developed one single player ..and please don't tell me he didn't know a thing about the rorting .ill ask a hypothetical...if we made the top 8 this season ,imo that would make JT a much better coach than Arthur ...everybody had us pencilled in as wooden spooners ....

No. Arthur is close a coach of the year candidate. His squad is a rabble and sill competitive.
He is keeping the Eels together.

Gun halves, one of fhe best fullbacks And backlines going around, improving forward pack… wooden spooners please lol. Funny how both Taylor and the club had Top 8 as their number one goal. If Parra dont lose their points and have norman, radradra and foran playing they finish top 4 no doubts. If Arthur goes on the open market, Warriors, Dragons and the tigers would be fighting for him. How many clubs would be fighting for JT once we let him go, a big fat donut.

Arthur is a cheat .not a coach of the year

Slightly on the harsh side
He didnt assemble the list of salary dodgers
the poor bloke inherited them

The real problem wasnt him..So even though i hate parra and they deserved what they got i personally do feel sorry for Arthur stuck in amongst all this

So Arthur never picked his side .lol ..but JT did …..lol. And yes we were tipped by many so called experts to finish near the wooden spoon ....

You are correct

They are allowed their opinion. We haven't given them any reason to think differently yet. It's up to our club to change attitudes towards us seeing as we went a long way towards cultivating them in the first place.

Come round 20 and they'll be all aboard the Tigers bandwagon….

Too bad most of our supporters aren't.

Didnt know the coachs role was also to balance the books and make sure the team is under the salary cap.

And yes JT does pick his teams. Yes he does go into games without a recognised hooker, yes he puts lovett at centre, yes he puts rankin at hooker. Yes im sure he does all things. You can actually still be a JT supporter and call him out you know lol. You cAn also still be a tigers supporter and want them to win even if you criticse the coach.

Does that mean you would believe Bellamy had no knowledge of Melbourne rorting the cap?

Is it just me or is it an each way bet when we hear people say we're much better than where we are on the ladder, yet complain that our last 2 wins haven't proved anything because the teams we beat were duds?

I don't know why you are quoting me from Feb but while you're at it find some of our prediction threads. I am one of the only people who predicted a top 8 finish this year.

Gun halves? Well until recently they hadn't achieved much at all on a regular or consistent basis.
One of the best fullback - yes
One of the best backilnes - you're kidding right?
Improving forward pack- yes
I don't get your Parra comments. They're cheats. Should have been rubbed out entirely. They beat us in the first round due to them putting a team on the field that should never have been assembled. So you could argue that we should have those two points and they should not. That alone would have us sitting in the 8 currently. When all is said and done, we're at worst, performing on par and probably achieving a little above where most expected we would. Go back and have a look at where most "experts" thought we'd end up at seasons end.
Any reasonable person should be able to see that JT has led the team pretty well so far. But if all you can do is bag him because you don't like him, well that's kind of lame.

It wasn't a shot at you. I found the part about them being aboard come round 20 ironic considering a lot of our supporters are making excuses for our recent success. And some even hoping we lose due to Farah's treatment.

Arthur is a very good coach, dont think he was aware of how shonky the board was, his job is to coach the team, not balance the books, might as well kick Parra down now, as much as I hate that club with a passion I can see them being a force from next year and beyond while Arthur is at the reigns

As for JT, I like the fact that he is in charge and not any player but his weekly selections baffle me, he has been burned so many times before with selections but continues to play the same cards…why on earth would you switch half the backline ( hooker off, wing to hooker, centre to wing and 2nd rower to centre who can't defend for peanuts out there)

Sad part is JT has so much potential in this playing group and isn't using it accordingly

Wow what is it with the JT supporters on here. Again let me state that im a wests tigers supporter. I want to win games with our best team. JT has made his call on Farah and im happy to live with it. But can you please explain the following.

- No recognised hooker (cherrngton is available)
- Reshuffling half your team to put your winger at dummy half
- Putting Lovett at centre
- No improvement or accountability for our right hand side defence.
- Playing Elijah taylor at dummy half

Should i keep going. Again does not mean i hate JT but if your telling me some of his selections and positions for the team is not baffling then…....

Spot on… You forgot about his genius idea of playing Milone in the centres ahead of more capable replacements. But to some JT can do no wrong.

still waiting on someone to explain the above genius moves by JT.

Sorry IBWT,
But you ( along with the rest of us )wouldn't have a clue if he has had 1 , or 21 contract offers from other clubs, here , or in the ESL.
So why expect anything that you say on the subject would be believed?
Or does Robbie send you a copy of his mail and email each day?
