JT HAS NO CLUE - JUST ASK RANKIN

now that we all know JT has no idea , can we just sack him and make this all end. now on a lighter not i was thinking sacking is so dull , how about we nail him to the goal posts and every one can take goal shots at him, after that we put him on a white horse and take him down parramatta road, before leaving him at rosters headquarters, with a note pinned to him thanks but no thanks. lol.

I don't think a white horse is appropriate a donkey will be a good match.

I like the donkey idea. Can we paint the donkey black and white lol.

In an article in the SMH July 27 11:59am, Rankin was asked about his dummy half role on the weekend.

**_Rankin said he didn't know about his new role until during the game.\
\
"It was always a matter of how Dene was going to handle playing the full 80 minutes, knowing we didn't have a hooker on the bench and (prop) Joel Edwards playing as well," he said.\
\
"There was a stage there where it just happened that I had to come out and fill the role for a bit so (Halatau) could get a breather._**

So JT thought it wise to thrust Rankin into the role without prior warning, no gameplan during the week. No practice during training.

Rankin then opens up about Robbie Farah:

**_Rankin, 24, also weighed into the Taylor-Farah saga, hitting out at critics of the former club captain for claiming he wasn't giving the team's young halves enough opportunities in attack.\
\
"The stories about Robbie not giving them enough ball, to me it seems like a beat-up," he said._**

Its seem more and more clear that JT has just about lost the playing group. Rather than try to fool them and us with spin, he should have just called the Farah dumping for what it is. They can, just like us also see that he makes it up as he goes (rankin at hooker, lovett in the centres). Its so sad to see coaching decisions actually undermining a team rather than helping them.

I've never seen Taylor say that Farah wasn't giving the halves enough ball, just that he doesn't pass from the ground, so the ball is slower getting to them.

Right or wrong, good to see the players supporting their teammate.

E T said last night, that Taylor was giving plenty of EARLY ball to the halves, , Taylor was complaining that that wasn't hapenning

Geez some of you are childish…strap JT to goalposts and kick balls at him....we are bordering on the 8 most of you experts tipped us to win the spoon with JT coaching us....how quick are you guys to kick someone in the guts for making hard calls and getting the young guys to play NRL,you must admit they are playing more controlled football this year than last....it must have been Blockers influence anybody but JT......

High school girls having nothing on some of you keyboard warriors....

Tie Farah up to the other goal post while your at it,I bet some wouldn't miss him......

Apparently their as bad as each other and this club is garbage..join another forum and put anyone in reach down to your level.

You cAnt say that about JT lol. He is untouchable, even when he is wrong he is right. The thing is we can happily admit that Farah is not the player he used to be, that he isnt worth $950k. Id even rather he not be here next year. But im still to see a JT supporter call a spade a spade.

Im not being smart, but what spade do you want me to call a spade?

I know some think that because of my name I support Taylor from old allegiances or something of the ilk. I have always been on record as supporting him ardently because once the playing group harpooned the previous two coaches, that they have lost the right to question a third coach.

Do I agree with everything he has done in his tenure? Damn no… But I do believe that a coaches job is to decide on a direction, and a players job to execute what is asked of him to achieve the coaches vision. This is a 3rd coach, so a third variation on a theme... we are honestly running out of constants at this point bar sections of our playing roster.

Well, not really.

"I couldn't see that, I hadn't seen enough to think 'what's going on here?'" Elijah Taylor said.

Hardly a ringing endorsement.

"He's an experienced campaigner, knows what he needs to do. The coach has told him what he needs to do and he'll do it."

Sounds like ET understands that Farah wasn't doing what was asked of him, and he expects Farah to "do it".

I've said before, I would not have dropped Farah BUT I do expect him to follow coaches orders. You'd have to be blind to not see that Farah was not passing from the ground. If it takes a few weeks in reserve grade for the message to sink in, so be it.

Either just after or before that line . In both the smh and Tele stories ET said that Farah had been giving the halves plenty of early ball, In other words , good service,
he's on the field and should know. He also said " we need him on the field, a bit of a difference to JT and his "the team plays better without him"
Quite a good endorsement I think

Come on mate, you honestly believe that thats the real reason Farah was dropped. You forgot to mention that Elijah said that the halves were getting plenty of quality ball from Farah, then RanKin comes out and says the same thing. Nothing but a play to get Farah out, and most likely orchestrated by higher powers in the club. I honestly dont think that JT is that stupid, but then again Lovett in fhe centres multiple times, Naiqama not accountable in defence. With Taylor willing to play a second rower (edwards) then a winger (rankin) there is absolutely no coming back for Farah.

I think it's really clear:-

1\. Taylor is lying to cover up the real reason which has to be due to contract dollars
or
2\. Taylor is a complete moron

Could it seriously be option 2 ?

100% correct. I don't see many posters on here stating Robbie is worth $950k or that he is as good as he once was.

WIth JT though the spin comes out in spades. It was the game plan we had to have. Robbie doesn't provide as good service as Halatau/Rankin.

I think that is what kills me about JT's cronies. Just admit the dude has gotten plenty wrong.

I'm honestly not sure. I still hold out hope that Farah will be back in first grade next week. If he doesn't get back to first grade this season, I'd have to agree he was dropped solely to get him to switch clubs.

Which begs the question: If Farah were to announce he'd signed with Saints for next year, would he be reinstated?

I would take JT over McGregor, McFadden and probably Nathan Brown so there are worse in the competition lets be honest. The reality is he is a battler and has spent enough time as a FG coach for it to be evident he is below average.

We need to grow up as a club/supporter base and look to more proven coaches with a better track record. I would be targeting Cleary, Maguire, Brad Arthur, Hassler. This Farah vs Taylor battle has clouded minds. Farah, whilst a club legend is past his best on big cash and Taylor is a below standard first grade coach.

Yes you seem to forgot crap games games that we play on a regular basisand how we played against Penrith until Farah came on for example with a decent coach we could have already have been in the 8
