Junior Moors what has he done to Tim sheen

I just cant believe people are surprised a Juniors constant omission. Sheens has been playing this game for years its nothing new. Iam not privy to the reason, but like plenty of players before him Moors isnt rated by the boss. I think young Miller is in the same boat. Lets face it Moors is miles in front of Groat,Cashman and BMM at the moment and probably on a par with Bell, but is the first that is flicked. Who knows what goes on in Sheens head

Yep, Junior should've been in the Australian team, but while Sheens is the coach, it will never happen?

Sack Sheens now :unamused:
:deadhorse:

Let Young Groat continue to develop he has plenty of time, but please Mr Sheens don't continue to mess with our season by overplaying his hand, give Moors a go, parra will be a tough game.

That can't be right , if that was the case why wasn't Moltzen fullback ,Slater on the bench for 3 minutes of action at hooker at the end of the game

Watto ,you've got to think these things through before you post :crazy

^^ Your kidding Ink.

Fairs fair the guy has constantly delivered in all games this year. If someone wants to bring up a pecking order how does Ray Cashmere get ahead of him?. Cashy was good vs Penrith but Moors is younger and has done it for a longer period. Not to mention how he should obviously be ahead of Groat who by all means has a future.

How can we accept the mediocrity from half a dozen of our players for years and then drop a guy who is putting above average performances in every week? How is a player meant to grow and become better when he cant string two first grade games in a row together??

How much better did the Tigers look with stronger ball runners going forward last game like Moors? Ive seen some players do nothing than there usual 30+ ineffective tackles and runs a game for 2 years, and the moment a potential bright light comes forward again, we hold him back.

Absolute Joke and **noone here is carrying on too much**.

Im only trying to gauge Sheens thoughts re: pecking order….I dont claim to have the answers why.

Oh …no?

Should go to a club who gives him the respect he deserves. Not stay at a club who treats him with outright contempt…

You know what contempt is?
A fully fit player, trains all week, then not select him at all in any grade and make him attend the game to hold bump pads and assist trainers during the warm up to a game, in front of fans

Out of all the rumors going around, why isn't there one linking Jumior with another club ?
Rhetorical question perhaps ? Sounds like another Blake Lazrus situation … Plenty of forum experts
reckoned he was the next big thing as well.

My apologies on misinterpreting what you read but the whole situation is not right. We have lost many games in the last few years and one of the reasons is the inability to go over that advantage line. I.E - Had we had some players willing to charge forward vs Souths in GP we may not have lost. Moors is a mobile young guy who makes good metres, and he is ONLY 25 as it is.

If we can not reward a player who plays well theres somthing wrong. People criticise Kearney for dropping Luke Burt, but at least he made a tough call.

Groat, Heighno and Cashmere should not be ahead of Moors, and even Fulton is lucky to be ahead of him. Moors is no international,, but if hes putting in good performances and we are dropping him then its not fair. Ive seen what players like Heighno can do, who have the world of opportunity, and for the last 4 years we have NEVER ever dominated teams in the forwards. At best weve matched them. And its for reasons like this

Its nothing like a Blake Lazarus situation. Blake didnt perform when given the opportunity in the top grade. This year at least Junior has played very well in first grade and Supercoach has in my opinion exactly placed him in the pecking order of our forwards based on performance.

The comments in this thread seem quite reasonable to me. A lot of us are mystified as to why someone who has done all that is asked of him re losing weight and performing on the paddock is not being recognised. If expressing those views/ pondering over what might be the issue causes exception to a few, perhaps a football forum is not the place for you guys.

To put it in a nut shell Moors have played really strongly when given the chance then gets dropped for a player who is still very young and needs to go back to u20s to find his feet, he will be a good player but Moors is why in front of him at present.

Not one person said Moors was a superstar, but he is a better player than half the forward pack running around and hes deprived of opportunity. If Chris Heighnington was putting in these performances then the forum would be saying how good he is and how we should re-sign him.

In every game Moors has played this year we have looked a better side. He is a better player than Groat (who I have a lot of time for). Regardless of how anyone plays this season , or whether Moors comes in for someone who is injured, its not the point, Moors should of been there to begin with.

That's a ridiculous comment … You can say what you like, disagree as much as you like and suggest what you like .... That is what the forum is here for. Maybe you're getting a bit touchy in your old age PP !

Members day is soon, maybe someone can pick Lord Sheens brain on the topic of Moors….but he's not usually at these thngs, is he?

BL really wasnt given a real fair go either, played out of position every time he got a ''crack''…so to say he didnt perform is a bit extreme

I don't mind being the odd one out.

It has nothing to do with whether or not I think Sheens is right or not…..but....

I can say, hand on heart that I don't particularly rate Moors or BMM for that matter.

And yes, I have my eyes open. I just don't see what some others do.

Maybe in time, or with another team or something, but I fail to see what the raves are about.

I agree, my hope was that Lazarus would be 'new Hodgson', the solution for fullback and perhaps goal kicking. Unfortunately, probably due to injuries he never again played at the same level.

On the other hand, everytime Moors was given a chance he, IMHO, played well and deserved reselection.
IMHO the pecking order shall be: Moorse/BMM, Cashmere, Groat. Groat needs a few games under 20's to get to the level he played last year.

You seriously can't rate Groat better than Moors at this point in time, with Groats deficencies in defence and his meagre metre tallies he is way behind Moors and should not be there ahead of him..

Oh well we get to see Groat make his 30meters in attack this week and his little hop and skip before he totally gets wrong footed and misses tackles, while Junior makes his 100m + in state cup and dominates tackles. He did drop a ball thow the other week obviously a Sheenius move.

Yep that State Cup form wil do me :unamused:

Well in his last "NRL" appearence 2 weeks ago he also made 100 meters in 30 minutes, obviously to you he does not deserve a game, now let me check Groats stats from the game before he got knocked out in 46 minutes he made 45meters in attack, and missed 3 tackle one ineffective. :crazy

Oh for crying out loud….''contempt''....we have some drama queens here.

We have a squad of 25 or whatever it is, only 17 can play any given weekend...the way some people carry on

Name call and clutch at straws all you like…

The fact is, to drop Moors without explanation when it was agreed he was playing well, not pick him again for another 18 months after constantly performing in NSW Cup and deem him not as good as Mark Flanagan, Skando and Mat Groat is contempt.

If I were him, I'd take it as an insult...and play at a club who'd use me...Most would.

lol… Just because some couch potatoes rate him doesnt mean any other NRL Club would take him. Has he been offered any deals elsewhere???

The guys isnt setting the world on fire... I havent heard Ricky asking if he is available for NSW! Yes I like Moors, but I really dont think he is being treated poorly. Its just the way it goes and the Coach rates others higher.

This thread is just the new Mitch Brown thread... When he left, he played heaps of NRL games?!
