If I read the results correctly it will be a test of fire for the Balmain boys in week one.

In SG Ball they meet the Raiders who demolished the Central Coast 70 - 0

In Matts They face off with the Panthers.

I think the Maggies play the Knights in SG Ball

Smeg,
I did a bit of research as the table I went off was wrong, looks like Wests play Saints in Matts. They could possibly play Balmain in week 2.

Yes, the real stuff starts now
The draw has been kind to both squads so far
Good luck to all three teams in the fianls

Everyone keeps saying we have had an easy draw, pretty much all of the top 8 in SG have had easy draws. Parramatta still managed to miss the 8 yet they only played 2 teams from the top 8, Canberra and the Roosters.

Balmain have played 3 from the top 8
Souths have played 3 from the top 8
Manly have played 3 from the top 8
Canberra have played 4
Penrith have played 3
Bulldogs have played 3
Roosters have played 4
Cronulla have played 3

For a club that finished 6th and 8th the Dogs should be happy they're getting home games. Balmain finished 1st and 3rd and appear to be playing in Penrith's area. Leichhardt Oval not available?

Amended Times now for SG Ball :wtf (Penrith musn't have liked the 3pm game), I don't understand why we would end up at Windsor :crazy , Penrith must have the pull and have got their way because of our Matts playing against them. Not happy :brick:

Sat, Apr 14 12:00 PM Penrith Cronulla Windsor Sports Complex
Sat, Apr 14 3:00 PM Balmain Canberra Windsor Sports Complex
Sat, Apr 14 3:00 PM South Sydney Manly Redfern Oval
Sat, Apr 14 3:00 PM Bulldogs Sydney Roosters Belmore Sports Ground

Leichhardt is not available for the next couple of weeks. Work on the playing surface - re-sowing grass I think. Pity that the Ball and Matts won't be able to take advantage of a home ground advantage. Same reason BRET game v Manly is now at Brookvale this Saturday when it was originally scheduled for Leichhardt.

Bayley Sironen - Another of Paul's kids???

Matthew Woods - Aaron brother???

Read some people have big raps on Mitchell Moses, any good??

Hi Flash,

Is Leki Taumalolo related to the guy at the Cowboys? I note he is a prop - does he have the same amount of talent?

Bayley Sironen is Paul's kid and goes pretty good.

Matt Woods isn't Aaron's brother.

Mitchell Moses would be close to the best player in the age group.

Yes, reportedly better than Curtis at the same age.

No idea on the second.

Yes, Moses will more than likely play NYC later this year.

Leki is a very good prop not huge but very solid, aggresive and mobile, I believe he got the best forward award last year in the SG Ball as a 17yr old. I don't think he is related to the guy at the Cowboys
