Jayme Elias

Here's an article on Jayme Elias,, playing fullback for Balmain SG Ball. He seems quite a level headed kid and has a fair turn of pace.

Moses cousin eh?

Good footballing family.

I hope he has a great season and progresses through to WTs. We have a chance to tap into the Australian Lebanese talent pool in the inner west.

What a crazy concept that would be.

It was another weekend of mixed results for Wests Tigers junior representative teams in Round 4 with only two of five sides recording wins, as well as a number of close defeats.

Wests Tigers Tarsha Gale were once again the pick of the sides as they chalked up a dominant 22-12 win over the Parramatta Eels side — coming from behind on two occasions before showing their class throughout the second half to move their way up to fifth on the competition ladder.

Western Suburbs Harold Matthews side put their slow start to the season behind them with a strong 20-10 win over Illawarra — Kit Laulili crossing for two tries in the space of 13 minutes to ensure the two points for the Magpies and consolidate them inside the top eight for the first time this season.

It was another tough result, however, for the Magpies' SG Ball side as the in-form Steelers ran out 36-12 winners at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

Balmain's Harold Matthews side battled hard against the Rabbitohs with captain Tony Sukkar again leading from the front, but ultimately came up short in the end with the hosts scoring five tries to three en route to a 24-18 win.

The Tigers' SG Ball side also looked to be on course for another good win before a try in the final minutes to South Sydney saw the hosts home with a two-point win.

Wests Tigers GSR sides will both feature in games on Sunday afternoon.

Good effort by Magpies HM. Balmain SG Ball seems to be a decent team this year.

I think Balmain SG Ball are top 8 material if they play to potential.

In SG Ball Balmain knocked over the CC Roosters 34-16 while Wests rolled Norths 40-12.

In Harold Matts Balmain played out a 12-12 draw with CC Roosters while Wests were too good for Norths winning 26-16.

In Tarsha Gale Wests Tigers were thumped 24-8 by Indigenous Academy,

Better results particularly for Magpies which for some reason are always at the back of the table.
I really can’t figure out what’s going on with recruitment, retention and coaching in our vast junior catchment that they administer.

The magpies problems have always been politics hopefully that is over and like Balmain seem to be able to do get the right players into WT system

Good results for the Tigers against the Roosters. Does anyone have details about try scorers and best players?

Training out of the new Academy and interestingly using the Sydney City Logo. Obviously a way around the lack of juniors at Sydney City.

Did they all play up at Wyong today, as I only knew that the Tarsha Gale side were?

Thanks, but that's a bummer as my young bloke was at a mate's place, so I was free to actually watch a game and the talent in Ball would have been good to see at only fifteen minutes or so drive.

Didn't know it was classified as metro now. Either way they are investing in juniors outside their area. Bad thing?
