Very good physique on him already. He'll be a beast if he continues to improve. I know most clubs give some of their promising juniors the opportunity to train with the top squad over summer. This kid would be one to benefit from it for sure.

why does the guy tackling him look like a big version of Masters

Watched the highlights on NRL.com. This kid has great balance, footwork and speed. He and Camroux could be a very exciting prospect in a few years.

You know i thought my school eastwood was bad at footy cause we get mercied every week before halftime untill i realised when we verse st gregs and blacktown, just about every player in the A team has a nrl contract either for penrith, tigers, parra or souths. Schoolboys is usually just a three horse race between St Greg’s, Patrician Brothers or Westfield. Sometimes you get the odd Illawarra, Hunter or Endeavour in the mix but usually it’s between those 3 schools

Should be doing everything possible to link back up with Greg’s

Yeah that’s the issue with the age group, half of them are giants and half are still kids. Size definitely matters at that age, you see a lot of them struggle once everyone else catches up size wise though.

I was blessed with being the giant kid at footy so no issue for me ?

Back in the under 13/14s days we had a man child of a fullback, he was seriously like 1/2 feet taller than everyone else and a speedster. Our entire game plan was pretty much just give it to him lol.

Once we reached under 16s and above at schoolboys, basically everybody on the opposing team (Pats, Greg’s) was his size if not bigger. Was pretty deflating haha

Sad thing is they have a lot of monsters that are junior superstars. Once they come up against adults they quickly get found out.
