This name intrigues me: Raymond Wehbe

Any relation to the whisperer?

Maybe related to Lebanon world cup player Jason Wehbe.

Parramatta Jnr.

keen to see what Dotoi brings to SG Ball. hopefully he brains it and transitions to Flegg midway through the year ala Pole. hopeful Corey Thomas can be a standout in his second year of ball. keen to see what the QLD recruits can do for Wests and last but not least, let's hope Johnny Ibrahim for Balmain absolutely brains it and becomes a cult hero for years to come.

I doubt Dotoi will play Ball. You just don't send Aussie schoolboys into a comp designed for schoolboys. He's shown he's above that level and will go straight into Flegg in my mind.

Covid may have increased the age eligibility requirements of the comps but that doesn't mean we have to follow those increases.

We also have to fill our Flegg squad as a bunch of players (hopefully) get promoted.

considering Ball starts in February they might just use him in that first month to put some miles under the belt, who knows. I know what you mean though. interested to see where Jimmy Ngutlik turns up as well. assuming JF.

Saw on insta that Braydon Guyan has re-signed for next year, I’d imagine he’ll be in Flegg if not development?

Yes that's possible but we really want him training with the nrl squad, and then working on combinations in flegg. Training and playing in Ball delays our primary objective so i'm not sure it's worth playing him down a grade to get fitness for flegg. The qld boys have at least completed this season's comps. It's the NSW based boys that haven't had a run in ages that we need to be more worried about

considering he's not in Balmain's SG Ball side he'd be short odds to turn up in the Flegg squad. not sure about Development if I'm honest, I don't think we'll hear anything on that front until the team returns for pre-season. I think there's a few players from Flegg that will get the call up for Dev contracts mind you. Dillon, Hill, Fuatimau, Ogden, Scolari, Pole, Perry, Webster-Mansfield, Ngatikaura etc are all banging down the door.

Question is stevanovic the one who made 1 run and broke his jaw in that trial?

Or was that stapleton

Stapleton. Stevanovic played Flegg all year. He's a really good talented half.

Another very good young player. We are making moves to tie up our best. Well done.

Looks like we’ve lost Compton Fuatimau to the Dogs.

Not sure if we’ve retained older brother Iverson.

That's a shame, can only assume they're offering more financial incentive than WT as I would argue we have a stronger junior system.

I haven't seen Compton, but Iverson played Flegg and looked quite decent.

Maybe he got homesick?

The Jersey Flegg team, led by impressive halfback Liam Scolari..

Anyone want to tell the writer he's a winger 😬

Forced my self to keep reading after that.
Also can hardly say the guys mentioned besides the two Flegg boys are ‘home grown’

Yeah I thought we snagged him from them. Weird that he'd go back a year later.
