Anyone want to tell the writer he's a winger 😬

He was extremely unlucky not to be selected for the Aust Schools Rugby team from St Josephs College according to a then current Waratah player.

He's one of those players who won't let you down and gives 100% every time he takes the field - not afraid of contact or the dirty hitups - unlike Nofo he doesn't crab sideways.

Looks like we’ve lost Compton Fuatimau to the Dogs.

Not sure if we’ve retained older brother Iverson.

Based on what? Both the boys were signed on at least 2 year deals.

Compton has been named in the Dogs Jersey Flegg train-on squad for 2022.

Maybe because we signed Dotoi we believe the centre position is covered?

Possibly, I think Dotoi is a little younger as he'll be in Balmain's SG Ball squad this year.

Pretty sure they're the same age. Compton could barely make the Magpies very poor SG Ball. So maybe he's not that great. Dotoi made the Aussie schoolboys team and would be ahead of Compton in the pecking order. Compton was under contract though so if we have let him go we must have other targets

Once again 'The Mole' telling porkies in his latest hatchet job on the club. Must be getting fed info by a certain player manager.

So bringing in a couple of recruits from QLD apparently is bad for the club's local juniors. Why no mention of the recruits from NZ or is QLD only bad?. Plenty of opportunity to make the final squads with the Tigers naming 46 and the Magpies naming 113 in their SG Ball Summer Squads. Just another whinge and a nothing article from 'The Mole'.

Fair enough. I did see one irate parent on Facebook venting their spleen that their son a tigers junior isn’t getting a look in in terms of making the elite squads.

Yeah I was going to post something similar mate.

Nothing wrong with cherry picking some talent from interstate and keeping the best local juniors. Yes some will miss out, but that's the way it is.

Most juniors don't make it. Some parents can't cop it. Some kids get cut then work twice as hard and still make it and prove doubters wrong

True. Well the club has set up alternative pathways for local juniors that haven’t been able to do it via the elite pathways.
Mind you a lot throw their toys out of the cot and demand better and move on if their not considered good enough for the elite teams for their age group. Isn’t Josh Rizk leaving because of this?
But there is still an option to progress through via the Shield, RM and eventually KOE. If they soo desperately wanted to play for the tigers they would stick at it until they are good enough to warrant selection over some of the elite juniors recruited through other means. And if they don’t get their well I’m sure there’s reasons.
We wouldn’t be the first or last club to underestimate a junior in our own system but you can be sure we’ll be the first club to be reminded o such.

Rizk obviously wasn't rated and didn't get many opportunities. Maybe one of those talented but crap attitude players.

If the locals are good they'll make it just because you're local dosent mean a walk up start

He's one of those players who won't let you down and gives 100% every time he takes the field - not afraid of contact or the dirty hitups - unlike Nofo he doesn't crab sideways.

I'd like our scouts to be out and about in Dubbo and its environs. A great town to pick up really good and tough talent.

It's worked well for Penrith.
