I’m telling you, Madge recruited dumb players across the board. Going to take some time to clean them all out + change the style.

We would be silly to move him to the centres.
Wingers in the 7 tackle set + no corner post era are definutely more valuable than centres.
With his size and speed he'll be a total weapon bringing the ball back, finishing tries and contesting high balls.
Don't break what isn't broken. AJ and Tupou on the left is a nice combo to build on.

Agree. I think the board and management need a clean out, but if the tigers start winning that all gets glossed over.

Great game by Tupou and he has now shown what he can do in the NRL! Looked dangerous every time he touched the ball. Always going to have a few errors in his game, but that's all part of a young bloke learning. The club just need to keep him in the one spot and let him develop in 1st grade now.
Totally agree…if anything good from this season so, our long term left edge AJ & Tupou

That was my favourite part of the game yesterday.
This kid is going to be enormous for us if we can hold on to him.
Makes Nofoaluma surplus to requirements which could help in prising a decent half away from a club...

How good was he and how much has he come on. We've developed him well. That is one for us.
We will need nofa , AK will have to move to the centres and we will need a winger , nofa best of a bad bunch

Tupou is suddenly the best winger at the club, and Nofo the worst (that was not sudden).
I would be going to Tupou with a bonus and a new contract to show him we want him and we mean bussiness with a 4-5 year deal.
Hopefuly Bula can be the next one.
Api,and Papi say hello,Cleary recruited terribly and Madge had to clean them out and buy with very little money thanks to Clearys big spending...Madge didnt work out for us,but many of the problems he inherited also caused us alot of grief...

what a brilliant footballer he is becoming. developing beautifully and is growing into his frame. he will continue to break games open like that for a very long time.

I agree - not saying Madge was the only person to blame. It's a been a string of bad decisions.
