It appears like they have chosen a good mix of players in the team/squad this year. Some really big boys up front, Penfold is a real goer at lock too and outside backs are athletic and have some speed and agility about them. Halves didn't overplay their hand but did a good job managing the side today. The number 14 is an energizer bunny when he came on and played at hooker. Ran a bit too often inside the 20, but I like his intent. Smashed an opposition big man to force an error too.

Certainly a good start, but haven't seen any of the other teams yet either.

yeah i thought both back up hookers did a great job even outplayed the starting hookers

Looks like we'll have to wait until team list Tuesday tomorrow to see who has made the final cut.

Absolute sh*thouse from the club the amount of content on pathways.

The way Shaun Mielekamp is talking a big game about our pathways, I would have thought he would have given a memo to our Media & Comms Advisor straight away to have his team pumping out some good content & info on our squads.

If I can make one of these member forums, I'll be giving some advice to SM on this matter and I hope others are too!

Agreed this area of communication has been very poor during this offseason.
They need someone to take control and get the squad lists for all our teams to our members and fans ASAP.
Last year was done reasonably well with comments from the coaches about the players to watch etc

Mate I’ve seen every other clubs post with their squads it’s really disappointing … I don’t understand why we even hired a new comms guy. He’s done one podcast so far what’s the point.
Can only hope Shaun’s working on it.

Yes it's not that hard. Something most members & fans would appreciate & start building a connection with our pathways prospects.

Precisely. He's come in with good credentials but jury's out from the outside looking in atm.
