Good article. A few things that stand out are the fact that the Roosters cast their net far and wide to get the best kids in, the fact they have a clear and coherent system through the pathways and how well resourced with reputable and skilled ex-players looking after the pathways.
Now they obviously have an advantage because of the lifestyle they can offer, being a club who wins and being able to attract premium first grade talent into the first grade squad, but I don't think that takes away from the quality they are producing through their pathways currently.
