Just remember this about those players leaving.....

Bryce as put some pressure on himself with these comments, if he does come out and play below par, there will be fans everywhere up in arms.

IMO i think he was most likely joking, but think it is an ill advised prank.

Everyone will be highlighting every mistake he makes (which there will be some, every player makes them) saying, see he doesnt want to be here

Some of you are talking utter rubbish [edited by mods]
A certain player has been taking paycuts for the club for 6 years. And now it was time for WT to cough up and reimburse him, the club shafted him due to poor cap management. This is what you get for "being loyal" to WT…

So what did Bryce actually say? Just a thought but if he didn't want stalkers / deranged supporters seeing his facebook he would change his privacy settings…

Any player who doesn't play well on Saturday clearly doesn't want to be here

All I expect from him is to give 100% for the duration of his time here, irrespective of the situation. **If** he is making childish/silly statements to the effect of what TW noted it says more about him than the club.

And you know this how? It's easy to dredge up dirt against the club, would you care to privately substantiate your claim, or are you going to continue to fan the flames and vitriol against the club by making what looks to be baseless claims?

So you know hes contract details?

its what happens at every club these days ….just get out of the 20th century.

You just stick up for players you like or that may talk to you at the club....dont get me wrong we all did that as teenagers.

Gee what are you going to do when the boss tells you you can stay if you want but we don't you. Better still you'll probably be playing back with maggies or Bret. It's a bit like your missus saying you can stay if you want but I'm bringing the bloke from next door in for the next 12 months.

hahahahahahaha i like your analogy…..
all true swordy .....so we will see how liam gets treated next season wont we ....

If Liam plays NSW Cup next year, he'll be the highest paid State Cup player in NRL history.

Well, If Liam plays NSW cup next year, it is because he has nothing to offer the top team. If he knuckles down, trains hard and plays hard, he will be picked. Simple.

And by the way, don't forget that player managers often ask 'overs' for their players next contract. In that case, if the club says 'Ah, he is not worth that amount', then the game of bluff didn't work and you have to live by it !!!!

I reckon it was more like voluntary redundancy. If no one goes, guess what? Redundancy becomes compulsory…for some...

After all, someone's gotta make way for Blair :smiling_imp:

Thats exactly what it is.

Fifita was somewhat pushed. He never got starts and only plays about 35 minutes a game. At the Sharks they not only offer him more money but you can almost guarantee he will start there and get more game time. No one ever passes the ball to him anyway so why bother being there.

If Fifita starts at the Sharks, it will ruin him. He has no motor and the extra defensive work he does when he starts nullifies his impact against tiring pigs.

somewhat pushed to take more than double his current salary.

fifita has done ok out of it. Personally I think he is best suited as a short stint impact forward.

TBH Fifita would have alot of pressure to get minutes with the emergence of Woods, BMM and not too far behind Groat (who is class with excellent pedigree) and Bergovich who is arguably the best performed forward in NYC, we cant keep them all particuarly at the price that Fifita was able to command.

his facebook status basically said "I wish Sheens would let me go to the sharks now… I just want to go".

Now why dont you tell us what it REALLY said, instead of stepping the issue benji like.
Doubt you will.

Ink, it basically read as above… Unfortunately, I didn't get a screen copy of his status, and it was deleted after about 10min.

Your mate Gibbs is a disgrace and should be sent packing to your black birds for the rest of the year... History would show most grubs have pulled on that jumper. Luckily for the Tigers, it looks like the deadwood will wash up on Cronulla Beach next year...
