Just noticing that the Kangaroo Tour at the end of season is coming up a lot with a 22/23 man squad being talked about. Just wondered what everyone thinks the squad named will be (what will be named not what we want), including the 23rd player.

If were up to me Farah would start but thats not gonna happen

Also Stagg is just as good and tough in D as Johnson but he's also improved his offense, thats why ive got him there instead of Johnson.

Do you guys reckon Lockyer has done enough this season to be considered? I seriously reckon Soward should get a shot…

Whats wrong with Boyd, he has played well all year, better than most others you would consider for those positions.

agreed, they can do far worse than Boyd.

The only prob I have with Boyd is that scoring 1 try this year suggests to me that his support play isnt to good, but then Jamie Soward more then makes up for that.

He is very safe at the back, busts a lot of tackles, and makes a lot of half breaks.

They have plenty of pace in the backs with the likes of Soward and Morris. The thing is when Soward is making the breaks, unlike the rest of the 5/8s in the game, Soward has the pace to beat the fullback and score the try himself, compared to a Lockyer, who will draw and pass when he gets to the fullback. Until Hayne moved their, Boyd was probably the form fullback in the competition.

in your opinion boyd was the best fullback until hayne moved there. :unamused:

Boyd was going great guns for the Dragons, and the big name fullbacks (Slater, Hunt, Bowen, Stewart) were all either injured, suspended or not playing at the same level that Boyd was playing at. Hayne was playing awful football at 5/8, then Ando moved him to the back and he's been outplaying all the fullbacks in the comp since, including Boyd. Boyd is still playing great football, a vital part of this Dragons side that sits top of the tree.
