KARMICHAEL HUNT DEFECTION!!!!

IM glad he is goooorne,Brissy will be stuffed without him.He is their 6,Lockyer is a passenger.

Cant wait to see how they get out of this with no star 1/6 on the horizon…..they may look to buy someone but who???

The bloke from the AFL they had on the radio talkback today was saying that the AFL's plan for success was going to be highly driven by ticket and membership prices, they are "aiming" to be around 50% cheaper than the NRL prices at Skilled Park…

The team is going to struggle on the field for at least 2-3 seasons until their young draft picks get up to standard, those will be the crucial and defining years to see if they will survive.

Do you think the NRL would go into a price war, cutting admission prices on the Gold Coast? Probably not…

Brisbane will be fine. The 2 biggest name code crossers for the 2009 season were Gasnier and Money Bill. Look at how their former NRL clubs are going without them.

Not too worried about this, bigger name players have crossed codes to Union and even boxing before, no player is bigger than the game.

Yeah they've never had trouble in the past filling up the gaps at the Broncos.

I hope this all blows up in the AFL's face. I would love to see them die a slow painful death with crowds dwindling, and I heard they only attracted 7000 people to a Swans game last week which I loved hearing.

I used to be able to watch a bit of the Swans (On tv), but I just cant now because of the AFL trying to raid Rugby League heartland, and their arrogance about how great they think they are just makes my blood boil even more.

To me Rugby League has and always will come first, and with the AFL trying to raid our territory has made me turn against them and I hope thats the case for a lot of other people as well.

It's the way they talk about it. It's as if us people who live in Western Sydney don't know what AFL is and hence we don't watch it, when the case is, everyone out here knows exactly what AFL is, but few have an interest in it.

Because 13 hours ago you told me I had failed and that those of us who were discussing this TRUE story were being fooled. Now it was just sarcasm ???

Um NO. I said I was being sarcastic about the Tigers winning the premiership????? Open your eyes and READDDDDDDDDD whats infront of you before you comment?

Ok, as long as you find out what is happening before you make an ill-informed comment about it. Can't have you looking silly all the time….
