Just read an article on the ninemsn page that there is speculation he is unhappy that the Gold Coast Suns dropped him and the Suns are undecided whether they will resign him despite the AFL commissioner wishes to retain him

Not suggesting that we sign him , but if we did what position do you see him

He did remarkably well at 6 in a SOO game and his kicking game would of got far ,far better

Great defender , hits the ball at a 100 miles an hour and doesn't back off and has great footwork

TBH I think Hunt could return and be ready for the wing/fullback by R1\. Centre and 5-8th might take a bit to get his body back to the right build.

Got no doubt that he could come back and play Origin again though.

Been there CB haha. Deadlocked myself outside as a kid and realised the only way out was through broken glass. Somehow didn't think to brush it aside…. Hahah

Wish we could get hunt but doubt we have enough money left and 2015 will be too late with Moses coming through. Also Rowe could maybe be a 6 you never know.

I have Family & Friends on the Gold Coast and apparently they are chasing him in case the return to the Bronco's falls thru.,rumours the Suns may release him from the 2014 season so we will probaly hear more,one way or the other, after Xmas.

Yeah if he leaves the Suns he'll sign for the Titans or the Broncs. Titans have even held preliminary talks I think..?

I reckon he will stay in AFL, no reason, just think he was starting to get good and was about to break through, i reckon he would like to "make it" in AFL,

Not based on anything other than a gut feel.

If he does return to league, I hope it is with us, as for what position he plays, who cares, throw him any old jersey and he'll do a very good job.

The thing I find funny about Karmichael is how good he is at sports that he doesn't even like….imagine if liked League or AFL

I don't see him continuing with the AFL post contact. The Suns certainly aren't going to renew his contract at the silly amounts he gets now, particularly when he played what 9 games last season? He's certainly not been a mug in the AFL but either the leather-patch brigade or one of the SE Qld teams would be morals to get him in 2015\. I'm thinking Gold Coast Titans at fullback.

I'd be tempted to use the Benji / Anasta money and offer him 650-700 k a season for 3 seasons

And would play him at 6

Give him something to seriously think about

Brisbane could get him for $250k plus a top up of $500k from a nice uncle :wink:

There would still be a few hundred k left after that.

The Khunt will never leave QLD in any case, so really it's the end of discussion. Either he stays in AFL, or goes to the Broncos or Titans. He won't do anything else.

According to the GCS they won't release him from the last season of his contract so he will only available in 2015

I don't think we will get him , but I want us to be seen in the market chasing to the right players for 2015

Karmichael is one of those players and would fill a void at 6
