I have it but am only using the tablet at the moment until the xBox app is ready for my loungeroom TV or until I pony up for a ChromeCast box. A couple of mates have it though ChromeCast and reckon it's good.

I just ditched Foxtel (paying $117 a month for everything bar movies,) and now use Stan, Netflix and Kayo for a total sum of $53 a month which gives me everything Foxtel was, plus the added bonus of movies.

Yep, my situation is exactly the same as CB. Had fox, canceled 4 weeks ago. Got Kayo, Netflix. Half the price of Fox.
Picture is Crisp on PC, still need to fork out for Chromecast for the big screen, so can't comment on pic quality for big screen.
Simple to use, lots of sport. I don't think you can record though, that's a bit of a let down i guess.
Pretty sure you can trial for free for 13 days or something like that.

Yeah 14 day trial. That's what I did. Had Netflix and Fox, took on the Stan and Kayo trials. Decided I was happy and canned Foxtel. Only downside is I have to watch Kayo on PC or tablet until I get a ChromeCast device.

All the old games are archived so you don't need to worry about recording games.

Games are on demand, so not many reasons to record outside of keeping for a long time!

Pretty big boxing/UFC fan, so like to hold onto fights. Currently they have Usyk/Bellew fight I want to keep, but I believe will be moved.

CB, where do I find the archived games? I know some sports get taken away. I contacted them about a Toronto Raptors game recently and they said some sports have the right to only leave it up for a set time.

Ah OK, I'm only going off the NRL which I have access to all games this year and last. I stand corrected.

Depending on your equipment, it is probably possible to record Kayo using a recorder that records from an HDMI input but it would be a bit of a pain and I haven't tried it.

@Cultured_Bogan I'd do away with the desktop/tablet. Everything is streamed these days. Stream it on a laptop and connect it to a TV via HDMI when you want a bigger screen.

@upthetigers Can use chromecast to stream from your laptop to tv aswell. Just much easier than having to have HDMI set up for laptop.

@jirskyr I noticed last night while watching, when I paused it there was a button for "Key Moments", if you hit that it should show / hide the spoilers.

This was on Android TV Kayo app, so not sure if it's there on other platforms.

If anyone has a beteasy account. You should have an email with an offer of 3 months free of Kayo.

Thinking of cancelling Foxtel subscription and maybe just have Netflix, which streams ok in a regional area. Just wondering whether any feedback on streaming Kayo on a smart TV, whether it be good or bad. Hardly ever watch much on Foxtel apart from Sports, so would like reduce costs and have a good streaming experience.

You will not regret it mate. I live regionally as well and have no issues with buffering.

I use Kayo on my samsung smart tv and it works great. I used to chromecast but no need for it now. Have you got good download speeds?
