Kelma is class on and off the field. Forget signing more 2nd rowers when you've got Kelma Blore and Luciano already.

They need a mentor to take them to the level we believe they can reach. Imagine how their games would have escalated with a Dale Finucane type working beside them.

Finucane has been merely going through the motions since his mates rallied around to secure a 4 year pension at the Sharks in ridiculous money for a geriatric.. he’s a salary cap boat anchor - Elliot has more to offer

That is possibly the worst take in the history of rugby league.

We need 5-6 capable back-rowers to cover injury/suspension. Also Kelma is a good year or 2 away from being ready for 80mins. Lucy struggles to play 80mins as it is also

Probably make a good addition to the coaches box throughout the year though.

He will do the job he was signed for. A lot of similarities between him and Fitzgibbon. He was signed to lead on the field and I have no doubt he will lead from the front and show the young squad the type of attitude required to stay in a game and give your backs an opportunity to win a game.

Anyway, this has nothing to do with Kelma Tulagi aside from that I hope we do consider Tariq Simms or an equivalent to help bring these boys through.

If I can be honest, I thought James Tamou would do exactly the same thing.

A sad consequence of our "we realy don't know what we are doing" recruitment, is that we never manged to pick the right expensive/big name player that helped "bring the boys through"!

Can’t disagree re Tamou.
Though in the case of Finucane, I dont hink he will be on his own at the Sharks with Moylan 30 (147), Graham 30 (259), McInnes 27 (130) and Fifita if he stays for the final year 32 (229).

No your right. Though at the time we signed Chris McQueen we didn’t really have any aspiring young backrowers other than Luke Garner however I still question whether our cheaper deal of 3 years for 1.2m was better value than the knights signing Aiden Guerra for 3 years at 1.6m. In terms of ‘bringing the boys through’

3/4 of those you mentioned are, in my opinion, shot. Andrew Fifita's body is done and I am pretty sure Wade Graham is the same.
