We then sign an athletic, tall, young, winger from the warriors looking to prove himself and get back to his best, in first grade.

That’s half thier cap on ,barring JAC and Burton , some bog average players . Are they going to get a half and a 9 anytime soon ? Maybe some forwards ? And most of those guys are more than 2 years .
I would have chased a pack personally . As we have proven you don’t need names in the backline to score points . But you do need a pack with strike .

He13cm taller than JTJ (I don’t know what that is in English ?) and JTJ is bucket loads quicker than Talau, so I’m thinking the back line will change for the better.

Tigers need a winger. Nek minute tigers sign a representative winger. Oh why did we sign him, he is too tall and too strong but soooo slow.

He’s not slow though . Speed is power . And Vice Versa . You can’t Average those metres without leg drive and short burst speed .

Will he win the 100m sprint . No . No he won’t . Will he generate enough leg drive and initial burst to creat opportunities, or more importantly finish them . Yep , that’s exactly what he will do .

He’s also got the dive for the corner perfected. Arms out stretched legs in the air , so if you get bundled you can still finish . A lot of wingers do it , but arnt that great . Talau is also good at this btw . But he’s a smart footy player so that’s to be expected .

That's a bit over the top. He's not the fastest winger but he's not slow, he's fast enough over short distances but he's not running the length and he's certainly not unathletic he's scored some beauties in the corner over the years

I was talking about The dogs trying to play 4d chess . Only they’re not playing chess at all . It’s laughable to watch. And they had an opportunity to ditch one of them , and they start playing games . Worked out great for us though .

I'd prefer DWZ but money matters. This is why you can't just look at missing individual players. We've now missed out on DWZ twice and each time it's because we aren't going to pay overs.

Exactly, you judge recruitment on the players you do sign not the ones you miss out on.

That doesn't mean you don't identify trends if they appear and try to rectify them.

Very good signing...especially given the alternatives.

DWZ has been terrible and Isaako is tiny, mistake prone and inconsistent...basically Nofa without the hit ups.

Big Ken offers a genuine skill set we have not had for a long time. It also will mean Brooks and Hastings have two targets with short kicks for tries in Ken and AD...two options on those kicks will be hard to defend.

Very positive step forward.

TNT wasn’t the fastest winger, even Brian To’o’s chief attribute isn’t his pace. But they make yardage and lots of it.

I agree, the meters are a huge huge advantage for us. It changes our dynamic and will relieve pressure off the forwards. People focus on his defensive attributes but DWZ and Issako aren’t better defenders. This is a very astute pickup.
