Hoping he's at least solid defensively and safe under the high ball and catches passes thrown at him. That would make him an improvement over every other winger who has played for the Tigers this year.

Recap the situation

We supposedly meet Isako, media circus.
Goes no where and he claims he's sticking solid with broncos.

We talk to dogs about DWZ, they want BJ and then they want Mikaele... not too flexible with the costs involved. We walk away.

We then sign an athletic, tall, young, winger from the warriors looking to prove himself and get back to his best, in first grade.

????

Waiting on the negative nellies to paint a narrative that we only took the offers away from DWZ & Issako after they rejected us and we settled for this nuffy. Thats how it goes isnt it?

I am glad we signed Ken over Isaako and DWZ, he will be a good pick up, but I stand by my other statements.
We only took the offers away from Latrell and JAC after we fawned all over them offering plenty with the added bonus of playing fullback, and were rejected

I think it's a contract problem. We made a big play for JAC, but he wasn't biting. Then Jimmy Jet comes on the market.
If we offer Jimmy a contract and leave the JAC contract, what happens if they both sign?
Parra/Storm, nothing. Roosters go shopping to offer the next Junior $1million a season, but with us, we have a problem.

If both JAC and Roberts signed, our cap would be screwed. Likewise with the big 4 we couldn't have offered 600k, 750k etc and have 900k and 1.2m come back. If you only have 30k in the bank you can't spend 25k and 20k.

I keep thinking about this and I don't understand how this happened.

So Warriors have cap space and are chasing DWZ. Did they think DWZ > Maumalo?
Do they have an excess of Wingers?
It can't be for money, surely the Warriors could match 300k.

I am hoping this is all just too good to be true. Heck maybe Maumalo got involved with Mrs Brown and hence Nathan sent him packing. All good for us.
