I think he’s done his knee , unfortunately.

Is that the one that was strapped?

I dunno mate . Madge said he’s getting scans tomorrow . It’s at least an MCL i reckon .

That sucks. Probably means **Joey is back in the team.**

Terrifying words

Yea his lateral defence , next to brooks , who IMO is the best defensive 7 in the game , makes all the nofa brain fades , not as much of a team killer.

I could be wrong , you never know . I wonder what the nrl physio says

He's definitely more suited to centre than wing - he can dent the line when he hits the ball up. Didn't look good when he got carried off. Hope it's not an ACL.

If he's out next week I wouldn't mind seeing Cini get a crack- reward for effort, before BJ gets a gig. Pretty sure bet BJ isn't gonna be here in '22.

63 Mins and over 100m V a top line defensive team..
For his 1st game there he was doing a great job and would be happy for him to stay until he proves us wrong.. I think taking away the pressure of catching high balls will boast his confidence. Hope he is ok with the knee injury

I’m over BJ. As long as long as AJ is fit, I’d prefer to see him over Joey moving forward. I’d even prefer to see Cini over Joey.

Feel sorry for the bloke, he's a very ordinary winger, but suddenly becomes a very real proposition when he plays his preferred position.

Then busts his knee. I'm no doctor but it didn't look good how completely he was immobile.

Kid played good, first try wasnt on him, that said, there is alot on BJ stepping up, if we Know his future is on the line, at the very least he is aware too. Nobody plays better than when their livelyhood is on the line

Last time I saw Cini in the centres, Scolari and Stevanovic babysat him in defence. His defence was simply not good enough.

Never know if you don't give him a go. Some blokes step up massively when given an opportunity. BJ is just killing time until season's end when he is let go. We need to get a glimpse of the future, whether it is Cini, perhaps Kiah Cooper? Our season is as good as gone in reality, if we did scrape into 7-8 we would be cannon fodder against the good sides (who more often than not have the ref playing beside them as 18th man). Give some young talent an opportunity, BJ has been hopeless in every game he's played this year.

Dunno wouldn't mind playing Souff's in a finals game..

He did well last night. Only one error which is a huge improvement.

Wasn’t tested in defence as Souths always went left. Has to play like that every week to hold his spot IMO.

Hopefully the injury isn’t too bad and he can build some consistency.

We all thought Madge had gone mad with that selection or there was going to be changes. Good call Madge and a selection that none of us suggested from memory. Did look like an acl unfortunately

I reckon we would've heard if it was an ACL. The trainers can tell if it's that with their hands on testing, the fact they're getting scans might mean it's an MCL which isn't as bad

He was down for a while in agony and didn't have much stability walking off. Let's hope it's a Dugan season ending injury where he's good to go in a week or 2

Yeah. 9 times out of 10 the coach will confirm in the press conference if it’s an ACL
