HUDDERSFIELD utility back Kevin Brown has engaged an Australian agent to find him an NRL club as soon as possible.
Martin Tauber, manager of New Zealand captain Benji Marshall, has already begun negotiations with Australian clubs on behalf of the 25-year-old.
"Kevin and his partner want to emigrate," Tauber told rugbyleague.com.
"We have already put together and career hightlights tape which we will be circulating to recruitment managers and following up."He has three years to run with Huddersfield but the early indications from the club are that if he can get a start in Australia, they would let him go early."
While Tauber has strong ties to Wests Tigers through Marshall and several other players, it's understood and early target for Brown is St George Illawarra. Dragons recruitment manager Craig Young is on tour with the Australian Four Nations squad.
"I have a number of clients playing in England but Kevin is my first English client," said Tauber. "It's very exciting."
Brown kicked off his career at Wigan in 2003 before moving to Galpharm Stadium in 2006\. There are two Englishmen in the NRL next year - Gareth Ellis and Mark Flanagan, both at Wests Tigers.
