Kevin Naiqama capable of captaining Wests Tigers in NRL, says Aaron Woods

The guy is allowed an opinion about an old team mate that he played with over the years, means nothing.

True he is allowed an opinion, of course.
A mate of his needs to pull him aside and tell him to just make no comment to the media. I get the impression that they see him as an easy target and he is known to put his foot in it.

Kev may be doing the job for Fiji but I can't see him in the Tigers strongest 17.

Agree. At best he'll be a one in three chance to jag a wing spot, up against Fonua & MWZ.
He'll most likely be playing fullback in SC and filling in if injuries strike.

He wishes he were still our captain. He'll regret 2017 bigly. Probably already does. Poor guy got taken for a ride big time by his manager, but what do you expect. If you tried to squeeze his brain through a straw it would look like a popcorn kernel falling through a storm drain.

I don't care what Woods says anymore, but it was nice to read that he gave credit to an outstanding person in Kev,he may not be out and out NRL material to some but he is all heart and gives 200 percent on the field..
sorry about yelling BUT I ALWAYS SAID MICK POTTER CAN COACH..HE HAS DONE A FABULOUS JOB WITH THE FIJIANS…there its off my chest... :unamused:

Next he'll be declaring Klemmer will be a suitable PM.

Woodsy, seriously, just go away and leave us alone. No-one cares what you say about us anymore.

I guess what Woodsie says about whats happening at Wts is as relevent as what Reynolds says about the Bulldogs and whats happening there in regard to the old coach and the new coach. No issue with either - and I expect their new clubs would expect them to field questions like that from the media leading up to the new season.

Maybe they should ask him about his chances of being the bulldogs captain. If honestly speaking to the media, he could suggest that there may be better options because:
A) he is a halfwit
B) he wasn't very good when given the opportunity at the tigers
C) that when fronting the media he generally says something that will embarrass the club, his teammates, or himself

POTTER IS A REAL COACH! I would love to have seen what he could do at WT without the RFBS.

Well Hap,Im still the same old TT…I don't need to share share my brain with GEO,he does well enough without my help...and besides.he likes pies and I like beers.. :roll

In crazy hindsight how things have panned out a few years back we could have offered Moses the captaincy, at a cheapie rate, due to his inexperience, may have locked him in. I think it was the coach that needed changing not the players. Look what the Lebs have done with a mixed bunch but with a great coach - against the giant Tongans not one turnstile amongst them.

Woods wouldn't know a good captain from a good haircut

Ha. I read your comment and then my eyes drifted right to your avatar.

Hahaha, different era mate, blokes aren't allowed to have long hair these days, apparently. Sims & Blair also have long locks, though they never get any flack for it.
