Massive news at the young fellas club , the young girl I spoke about earlier in this thread has joined our club

Which means they will have probably 3 of the best props in their comp playing in the one side

Just got home from the first training session of the new season .
The kicking coach has still got what takes :wink:

Hobbo Jnr has kept the 10 jersey for the season so he's stoked !
I slotted 3/5 from 35 out and 10 in from the sideline . My Quad is knackered :laughing:

Young fella lost their opening season game 18-10 , slightly confused , last years forward of the year now playing in the centres and got virtually no ball according to the Mrs

The Giants have been back for a few weeks now. Good news over here being total registrations are well up. Under 14''s significantly with 22 so far and will probably increase over coming weeks. We have teams in all ages this year which wasn't the case last year. My lads team has picked up 5 from union. Gotta love that! First trial this weekend.

No bombs allowed in mod footy , the ball has to go further than it does higher .

But then again this is the coach ,he has the best forward playing in the centres and then had the other playing fullback and our best half in my opinion playing in the centres

how the hell does someone who's a dead ringer for Chris Close (happy tiger) and has zero cardio have so many "hall of fame " accolades to ones name :laughing:

Season 2016 kicked off for the under 14s and we've started well with a 32 - 12 win over last years premiers. There's been a lot of improvement across the board. A little hard to gauge during school holidays with both teams missing a couple of players, but signs are great for a big season for the Giants given last year Rockingham Sharks were undefeated. Impressively, the tries came from back line plays, kicks for outside men and planned moves. We also had 3 kicks for goal sail over from right on the sideline on a windy day. Can't ask for more than that. GO YOU GIANTS!

Hope you others parents out there had a similar start to the season.
