Just watching the Sunday footy show and David Klemmer is on;
They asked him about Aaron Woods.

Cliffs:
- They're close friends
- He bases his game on Woods'
- He's 116 kg at the moment
- Admires Wood's workrate, watches him play and draws inspiration from it.
- Hopes to be a starter someday

I don't understand why everyone is basing the reason that Klemmer will come to the WT's based on their friendship

Lots of blokes have been mates before and never played a game together

Reminds me of when everyone thought Tuiaki and Moi Moi would end up playing together.

Farah is close friends with Tim Mannah yet turned Parra down when he re-signed with us.

If anything you'd rather not fight for each other's salary cap dollars , it's hard having two blokes playing in the same position earning top dollars , you just can't afford it unless you have unlimited 3rd party deals

Tiger torch stated that we've already tabled an offer.
Are you aware?

We've probably tabled 30 offers to different players Demps

We need backrowers and centres , not overpriced props

We need a prop who is value for money who can do a set job every week

Which we already got in Grant. We are in desperate need of a back rower.

Not that I disagree, I reckon you only need 1 rep-level prop and the rest value-priced props, but the offer reported by TT was big, equal to any other at the club currently.

So that would put it beyond just friendship and in the realm of serious $$$.

and we never tried Edwards, Griffin, Aloiai, Chee-Kam, Fine, Parahi, Cassell … :crazy

That is frustrating, and pretty darn stupid from our coach.

Anyone watching the game tonight….

Yeah, we don't need front rowers - we need centers and second rowers, LOL

We'll just keep picking Buchanan.....HAHAHAHA

Klemmer would be MASSIVE for us, fully needed IMO.

^Buchanan was far from our worst out there to be fair. Maybe we should give him a go in the halves- his kicking game couldn't possibly be any worse than the two liabilities we have have masquerading as top grade players in the 6 and 7 at the moment. How 2 blokes who have played in the halves their whole lives have such p### poor kicking games is bloody well astounding.

Last time we expected big things from a big signing we got nothing for the big money we paid

and it sounded something like this "adam Blair"

TBH I'm a big fan of lower grade players and juniors who take the opportunity when presented and make it their own.
They seem more hungry and that's how talent is discovered

SUE is one example, a great example

A rep level second rower would have been far more useful than a rep level prop in that squad today. Even with Grant only playing 20 mins, we still had three middle forwards go well over 100m (Woods, Sue, Ava).
We had no one on the edges to run a good line or even make a half-break.
