Knights Jumpers

What the heck was with the kit the knights wore last week? Couldn't they have chosen a week to celebrate miners in a game against a team with completely different colours? I was pi55ed at seeing us play against a colour so similar to ours. Ok, we wore white, but still…. it was really annoying to me.

Was really hoping more fans showed up in the orange Hi Vis. Would have been like a Tigers home game.
Really dumb promotion by Newcastle having it against us.

Not as bad as the Tigers women in league jersey this year in the Roosters game. I was at Allianz and struggled to get enthused about this bunch of guys in pink who'd forgotten how to play football. The WIL concept rings pretty hollow when you look at the guys who are allowed to play. Seeing Robert Lui in a pink jumper for the Cowboys made nonsense of the whole thing.

The concept is great though.
And its difficult to single to guys like Robert Lui and say they aren't allowed to play in that round.

Surely no Newcastle is buying these mining jerseys either…. I can't imagine it selling very well.

I have to agree with you,I found it very off putting.

Yeah I had to explain to my wife and my mother-in-law that the team in Orange and black (well that's how it looked) wasn't the Tigers. As the OP said, could they not have picked a different game to do this?

At least the Knights only stole one of our colours (the shorts looked black at the ground but they were actually dark navy blue). Some time ago I started a thread about the Warriors Holden Cup side wearing black, gold and white but most replies seemed to think it was unimportant.

As far as I'm concerned, Rugby League is a tribal thing and I object to ANYONE ELSE wearing our colours.

Depends whether they made them a proper Australian Standard high viz. A footy jumper you could wear on site might have a market.
