Koro v Richards

Someone mentioned Rowe as a wing option in the 2016 team thread - He's the complete opposite to what we need in First Grade IMO.

Karwin may not be lightning, but neither is Curtis Rona, Edrick Lee, Anthony Tupou. They all have one thing in common through - Height and strength.

Edrick Lee is fast, Daniel Tupou is no slouch either.

Karwin could be anything.

No thanks. Too slow for a modern day winger.

Yeah that Semi Radarara bloke is hopeless. No place for big wingers in today's game. No wait - you're wrong.

Not every winger has to be as fast as a Koro or Teddy. We need someone to compete against the likes of Radarara, Tupou, Nabuli etc. To easy to kick to our corners and let our midget wingers and centres drop the ball, literally.

Give the kid his first full professional off-season, let him work on sprints, technique etc and let's see, but he's already the best overall winger in the NYC. He's got the size and defence to be able to play NRL already. Those Cowboys wingers are too small, a la Mullaney, who can dominate at youth level with smaller opponents and no defence.

And he's a left winger. I'd have him as my replacement for Richards next year come Round 1.

Karwhin is slow, Radradra and even Daniel Tupou are not.
Nabuli is hopeless.

All those guys are quite fast. Lee is very fast.

Im not sold on Karwin either way yet.

I'm curious Pacman, how many NYC have you been to this season to watch him play? And to base your comment about his pace or apparent lack thereof? Which long range efforts are you eluding to in your bias?

Been to a few and seen a few on TV. He made a clear break a few weeks ago and looked slow, got caught after 40meters fended (not doubting his 'strength' just his speed) made another 20 odd before was brought down. Just an example but have seen a few more times where his 'pace' just isn't up to scratch. I think Marion Seve is more groomed in defense as well as being faster than Karwhin, and if we aren't signing anyone else, I feel he should get first crack over Karwhin, Hoeter, Milone or Rowe.
