Apparently Koro twisted his ankle last night. Has anyone heard anything further and whether he'll miss the Manly clash?

Highly doubtful, similar situation with miller last week. They didn't want him to inflame/worsen the injury especially when the team didn't NEED him desperately.

Did he twist it in the tackle or did a player have a go at his ankle after the tackle was made. I got the impression last night that someone had a go at it after the tackle but I haven't seen any replay of the incident as I forgot to record the game.

Yeah channel 9 reported it as a twist. Scans likely just to play it safe. Assuming a twist is all it is he'll be sweet for Thursday.

They said on the coverage last night that the tigers camp was't overly concerned..
Given the scoreline when he came off i'd say the time out on the bench for the remainder of the game was precautionary

Hopefully he will be alright …. he is improving every game , he just needs to get those low percentage shoulder charges out of his game , he let a try in by doing that last night .

Potter made a very good point.
Koro as strong and agile as he is wouldnt come off
for nothing. He is Fijian afterall. Strong as a bull.
Lets hope for the best with this injury.
This could upset our season.
He is the spark of our team.
Without him who will light our fire?
What will become of our premiership dream.
Please be okay Koro.
We need you right now.

Thought I heard on the broadcast it was just a twisted ankle. Shouldn't be anymore then a couple of weeks unless there is something I have missed.

But agreed. He looked to be dangerous with ball in hand. Big hit ups and massively strong. Needs a little work in defence but that will mature with age.

Yeah they are concerned that the injury is similar to Ellis foot injury last season

Yeah mate they reckon it could be a similar injury to Ellis's foot injury now :frowning:
