Koroisau Suspended

Loving the speed of the game but suspensions and sin bins need adjusting to suit. What is a 5ft 8 90kg veteran going to do agaisnt a big forward one on one.

The higher ups just aren’t using logic when they make rule adjustments. 10 minutes in the sin bin is almost certain to result in 2 tries and fatigue build up for the defending team.

If you want an enjoyable fast passed high scoring game, injuries will follow. Teach the players and coaching staff to avoid this and punish accordingly however lengthy suspensions and 10 minute bin periods are not suitable and ruin teams.

I am happy to cop an L to all three teams to ensure he is ready so we can get the W v Dogs lol
It could also affect Api's chances at Origin 1 as he will have no more games to press for selection now. But he could go into SOO 1 fresh and then back up to play against the Bulldogs.

Api is our biggest possible out for our team. He holds up so much defence around marker creating space out wide.

But it presents an opportunit for others and gives Api a little rest, which isn't the worst thing.

It was very unfortunate for Api. He was tackling a larger man from behind, around the waist, and consequently was dragged off his feet. The referee, I think, indicated he would have get 10 mins because injury was involved. The way the injured party carried on, both I and the officials thought a stretcher would be required to remove the player from the field. Luckily, he was able to carry on, playing into the second half before he succumbs to the injury.
Api started dropping before Noah's leg started moving towards Api's hip IMO. Api hit him so hard that Noah's legs buckled and he tried to twist to offload.

Api didn't even tackle him from behind, he tackled him from the side.

What does the NRL see as the tackling technique going forward? The way it's going, they only want to see tackles from front on hitting between knee and chest. If you come in from the side it's a hip drop. If you come from behind it's a cannonball. They don't want second or third man in, hence the 6 again are given out like candy.

Basically, they will keep penalising tackles that don't lead to first initial contact, wrestle for a second, peel off and quick PTB. They've done their homework and realised that this is what gives the most amount of PTB within an 80 minute game. They want sets to be over within 40-45 second. I wonder since 2020, how many more sets are there in a game on average compared to before.

In the 2010s, it would be a big deal if you make 100m, but now almost every forward and back is making 100m.

If that's what the NRL wants, just come out and say it. But no, they want people discussing this stuff, they want discussions, it sells articles, podcasts can talk about this for hours, more exposure.

Rugby League is actually a pretty simple game.

Don't think he was a realistic chance. Not saying he didn't deserve to be in consideration, simply that I don't think he ever was.

This is actually ridiculous. No way that deserves 3 matches. I understand prior occurences but like the heck was he supposed to do in that situation. 1 or 2 I would have copped but 3?????!???!???!???!?? What?
Su'A got 3 matches for his shoulder charge on Cam Murray. That was a really bad tackle.

There's no way Api's punishment should match that.
