I'd be fighting this. There will be hundreds of tackles like this in the last 2 years where no action was taken. The guy didnt even get injured.

We can definitely get a downgrade, I have no doubt.

Equality NRL style,3 weeks is a disgrace but not a shock when you know how they (refs/judiciary) operate.

Even with loading for prior offences, 3 weeks is excessive when compared to the punishment handed down to Su'A last week. Consistency of punishment and officiating generally have never been the NRL's strong suit.

Unfortunately Api has a bad tackling style for this day and age. The days are gone as to when you encouraged players to go low, its all about stopping the ball carrier and those off-loads.This is his 3 or 4th charge this year already something needs to change. Still a great player for us that's for sure but he needs to adjust his way or for time and fines coming his way unfortunately.

It was very unfortunate for Api. He was tackling a larger man from behind, around the waist, and consequently was dragged off his feet. The referee, I think, indicated he would have get 10 mins because injury was involved. The way the injured party carried on, both I and the officials thought a stretcher would be required to remove the player from the field. Luckily, he was able to carry on, playing into the second half before he succumbs to the injury.
