Yep 100% will be this, you can't have a next man up mentality and then throw it out the window because Hope is hopeless. He's not Api he never will be we will just have to hope he's atleast serviceable to a degree.

I think we have to consider it a rest for Api & just cop the three weeks. If we were to appeal it, we all know how our luck with officials goes, we aren’t one of the golden teams. We need the boys to step up another notch & cover us for a missing hooker & leader.
It is going to be interesting to see if similar tackles are policed the same way for the rest of the round.
They keep saying we can’t win & we keep proving them wrong, we just need the boys to keep believing in each other.

Have loved Api this season but this is disappointing from a leadership perspective. He's already been pinged for this a few times this season & has now gotten himself suspended for 3 games. Disappointing.

Biggest issue I see is his priors that are hanging over his head for which he has been fined at least twice so far this season.

Pretty sure it was always going to be a suspension the next time he came under notice.

I don’t think he would ever get the suspension dropped, but maybe a downgrade and a reduced suspension. Anyway good test for Benji and the Team and a three week spell can’t be bad for Api

I really don't know if they would or even consider reducing it.

Hope is not first grade standard imho,we will do it very tough if he is picked to start.

We heard this about Madden too. He is what we've got and will have Api as a personal mentor. I'm prepared to give him a crack - I like his attitude and approach. He is very mcuh a part of the team and should get his opportunity.

It is up to Api to prepare him over the next ten days and the forward pack to help him out. His deficiencies are in the subtle areas of the game - his defence and fitness are fine. His job will be simplified - take direction from AD/Luai and get the ball out in front of the forwards. If Api can get him to keep the A defenders interested he will do OK.

A bit left field could be Murray to play the first 20 minutes before bringing Latu on
