Kyle Lovett to debut

Hoeter not playing nsw cup, guessing he's gone up there

For what it's worth I'd have Lovett ahead of hoeter in the centers. Unless they're playing kev at center and hoeter on the wing.

On nrls stats there is no taupau in the side and Sila is in>wtf?

Well Sila has already scored 2 tries in the NSW Cup game at Henson Park this afternoon so that's going to be impressive!

You dont take a specialist centre interstate as 18th man….you try to take a player that can cover many positions

Perhaps since Lawrence was in doubt for so long a 19th man AKA a centre was needed to travel.

In one key change to the side named earlier in the week, Kyle Lovett will make his first-grade debut, replacing Chris Lawrence who has been ruled out with a groin strain.

Don't know too much about Lovett. How does he go I have seen he plays in the forwards but is playing in the backs so he must have some pace ?

Muff you wouldnt call him fast. Backrower in the Mark O'Neill mould. I assume Taylor thinks he can strengthen our defence. question will be whether he gets found short laterally.

Like most, I am disappointed by the very first injury and replacement of the season.

You don't wait until Friday night to replace a centre, especially when travelling interstate. Our new staff should have made an early decision.

I'm obviously still hoping we will win but I will now be watching how a slow forward will handle some of the quickest men in the comp.

Very solid debut but that is the type of player he is. Showed the coaching staff he can play a utility role now.

Great depth player and an outside chance to crack a back row spot if keeps going.
