I’d seriously consider a Luai and Doueihi combination if not for the year for this next match at least.
Our defence is our strong point and our attack is clunky as. Having Douehi replace Galvin will strengthen our defence in the halves and add Douehi’s deep boot into the kicking options. It will also straighten our attack and get the team to play a bit more focused on the result.
Will give Galvin a well deserved rest and takes away the uncertainty of playing potentially a future club whilst I’d imagine there is a lot going on on his mind.

The offer won't be there. They will upgrade others and look elsewhere for off contract players for 2026 and beyond.

Latu is a better no 6 .. it’s a matter of opinion, Latu however wants to be at the club and is signed for 3 more years

Glad that the circus is over for now, Richo has put them in their place. His game last night confirmed he is not a game breaking half, he is definitely a skilled player but he has looked good in bursts due to being a ball hog. Latu is the answer and has been since the start, he goes straight into the halves now and Galvin is in KOE, you cannot drop Douehi or Toa for him in the centres, plus as a centre defense is critical and Galvin's is suspect.

Once latu comes back he should be our five eight for the rest of season and build his combo with luai

The bitterness in our statement shows the opinion the club has of him. If he changes his mind I’d say there’s a spot for him. Obviously we will move on in time.

I reckon there is almost zero per cent chance he is here in 26. He’ll sign elsewhere in November, we’ll prioritise Latu and his new club will ask for an early release.
I saw no bitterness in the statement from the club just a listing of the facts acceptance of them and the club moving on.

I'm really disappointed. I liked him as a player and was excited to see him develop.
Hard to cheer for him now....
Still, happy with Richo's club statement; it's an excellent showing of the Tigers' new creed that they don't give a fk who you are - no one is bigger than the club.

Yes ..I gotta feeling he has a ways to go just yet …. But having said that …move him into the halves with Luai when he is fit …. The future is now
