OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

If Lachlan feels this is bullying, maybe he should move into a safer career.

The origin arena is quite intense, how ever will he handle that ?
Or international games ?
Or even very staunch fans at away games?

Perhaps maybe he select a life of isolation, painting portraits and staying away from the dangers of the world.

Only if it was that easy lawyers are as a different breed of slimey

This has pretty big ramifications for Galvin's career. Look at what happened to young tapine at the dogs. It seems his career is over. I think if the tigers fold and meet the demands he gets away with this move, but a big drawn out legal battle where it's probably untenable that he even play or show up to training (given its an unsafe bullying environment) and a long lay off off the field as well as future clubs not wanting to deal with such a player and manager and it becomes a whole lot messier for Galvin. Shitty situation for the club, but I think they can't back down on this.

It’s very easy for him to file in Fair Work (or elsewhere) and this then becomes a shit show - for the media and fans. Not to be feared though. I suspect we knew this was coming. A legal letter means shit until they file something but another threat. It would tarnish all involved though. We should hold strong. Have offered my time to the club pro bono to fight any rubbish.

The secret meeting that sparked Benji Marshall–Isaac Moses feud

Benji Marshall versus Isaac Moses is currently one of the biggest feuds in rugby league, but the reason they have fallen out has remained a secret – until now.

Marshall, through his brilliant media performance on Thursday, is winning the public relations battle. The problem is Moses doesn’t care about that, and Marshall is likely to lose the Lachlan Galvin war. It appears it is now up to Marshall and CEO Shane Richardson as to how many people are wounded or killed off, from a professional standpoint, in the process. At the core of it all is the Marshall-Moses feud.

The Wests Tigers have slammed suggestions that Lachlan Galvin has been the victim of workplace bullying after it was revealed he wants to leave the club.
Neither side is volunteering the source of the dispute. Marshall’s people say it may be because of the coach’s need to stand up to Moses, and more recently because of the nature of the John Bateman and David Klemmer exits from the Tigers. Both of those men are Moses clients.
But it’s deeper than that. My sources say it stems back to a secret meeting between Marshall, Mitchell Moses, Tim Sheens and Isaac Moses in early 2023.
That meeting was held when Mitchell Moses was negotiating his contract and exploring the idea of a return to the Tigers. At the meeting, Isaac Moses believed Benji’s body language and attitude towards Sheens was disrespectful.
It was not raised at the meeting. Instead, Moses let him know as much via a phone call the next day, and Marshall told him what he thought of that viewpoint in a direct way. The pair have been off each other since.
Moses would not be drawn on the matter when we asked for comment. It has been suggested to me that Sheens and Marshall are no longer close.
Marshall has the strong backing of his team in the battle with Galvin and Moses, but he may have reason for concern. Moses’ list of grievances with the club regarding Galvin is said to contain at least 15 points.
Marshall is aware of some of them, and there are some very damaging claims which he will challenge strongly. He may even wish to consider enlisting the help of lawyers. It has the potential to derail Wests Tigers’ season.
Marshall will be wondering how things changed so quickly with Galvin. About six months ago, he asked me not to write about him going to dinner with the Galvin family as part of the wooing process.
These maggots like weidler are best ignored...fkn scum

It’s not bullying, it’s consequences for poor behaviour. Can Romey & Turuva claim they’re being bullied for not being able to express their thoughts? Galvin just needs to take accountability for his BS behaviour. Hope this galvanises our team. Pun intended.

Marshall's reputation as a coach has already been sullied by this campaign.

Question is was it an isolated incident or has he been bullied for a long time?

Id say it's an isolated incident.

Therefore I don't think there is any legal way they can get him out of the contract as long as the tigers show a supportive culture to him
