what’s also insane , is that every other generation of footy player has been able to deal with the intensity of being in a footy team. From big personalities , jealously , hazing , extreme competition for spots , testosterone fuelled culture , media and on and on … except this one . 1 law suit for bullying currently in the courts and another being threatened .
large these kids fed a bunch of lies prior to nrl . Do they not know how hard it is physically , emotionally , culturally .
It has to be that the generation above them has failed them in giving them the tools to deal with adversity . Seriously the kid is going scorched earth because he’s lost favour of the coach. That would happen 20 times a year across the nrl . Dudes would get dropped and coaches would go off them .
Of varying ages . Like what makes Galvin different ? I do not get it at all …

Bullying is defined under section 789FD of the Fair Work Amendment Act 2013 (Cth) as when an individual or group of individuals repeatedly behave unreasonably towards a worker and that behaviour creates a risk to health and safety.

As this response was 1. isolated to one incident and 2. not unreasonable per the circumstances (easily argued in a court of law). Then this letter is easily thrown out and seen for what it is, another desperate ploy by a money-grubbing player-manager.

Marshall has been repeatedly bullied by Moses to get Galvin out of the club. Marshall would feel terrible that Moses keeps harrassing him over a legally binding NRL contract. Even going behind his back to his boss with a list of client grievances that are unfounded. There is a deformation case and a bullying case that Marshall needs to persue against Moses.

some article somewhere today mentioned the moses /galvin 15 sooks and suggested Benji may have grounds for litigation if some of those grippes came to light - ???? things heat up n get messy in the sandpit . Hard to know what to believe sometimes

Correct. If they are playing below reserve grade they can request a release and must be granted one. If they are playing below reserve grade and want to continue at the club they are able to do so for the remainder of their contract.

I’ve already explained how I reached them.
I have not stated that anything others are saying is ridiculous, naive etc..but I keep copping it. I don’t care about this legal shit, I suspect it has no legs solely because this kid has been treated like a king by this joint.
But let’s not pretend there is no substance to his earlier claims that the coaching is not up to standard. Benji famously doesn’t spend the hours on the job that his contemporaries do. Going on holidays last year whilst the team had lost heaps of games on the trot was a poor look. The whole time this bloke has been with us he has seen nothing but failure from the senior squads. Now we find out he has kept a diary. Richo had the chance to find out a lot of what they had and apparently shut them down before they revealed it. Now it’s coming back through the media.
It just seems like rinse and repeat of things this club does.

Geez mate, don't tell that to the good folks that paid big $$ for their waterfront units at Rhodes and Wentworth Point.
Not all that long ago, those same addresses were Dulux and Union carbide. mmmm Heavy metal contaminants . . . . So briefly . . . the dirt in the ground at some of the sites there had to be dug up, taken to a local built conveyer belt through basically a furnace, incinerated and then trucked back to it's original site and filled the hole from whence it came. The dirt was so contaminated, this was the only way to remediate it. All the developers chipped in to build the lucifer plant . . . it was the only way they could get their biohazard ground passed.

Anyone else thinking one of Moses' cronies will pull out some massively destabilising crap for tomorrow's tabloids to put us deep into damage control and give Pawwa a leg-up? Maybe a story from Benji's dog's, cousin's, post-man's, next-door neighbour to teach us a lesson and put us in our place.

If it was bad enough to get him out of a contract, they would have played that card before this saga.

It's all reactive from the Galvin camp.

Can't imagine his management sitting on a get out of jail free and not previously taking action.

On the legal front I agree with you, which is where/why I posted on this thread. Throwing in other things about Benji … I will bail out of this one. I support benji and the team,
see massive improvement and this issue as just noise. Hope we win watching them at CommBank tomorrow.

Benji isn’t a good NRL level coach yet, he’s been coaching at all levels for only 5 minutes. If his parents weren’t concerned then they’d be bad parents.
The issue is what’s happened behind the scenes with another club. Exposing that is how we get them back.
