He’s more likely to be upgraded and extended than he is to be given a release.

Galvin probably has never played in a side in his life that has lost three on a trot, now he is on a streak of nine on the trot and will probably end up over 20 loses

He can take the soft road and kick and scream and get a gig at the Chooks or who ever or he can put his hand up and take some responsibility like the rest of the squad and try and turn things around . If we really want things to change we have to have everyone on board, so if Galvin wants out let him walk, but get something out of the deal, a player who wants a challenge

Or just put the kid back in reserves where he really should be to develop his game.

Crazy that a desperate team hands a rookie his debut, he isn't yet up to consistent standard, and he then asks for a release... to do what, play reserves for a better side that doesn't require a rookie half?

I’m not going to blame him for wanting out however less than half a season after he made comments along the lines of “me & my mates have committed to change this around and win here” to then seek another release is a joke. Acting like a spoilt brat is how it comes across.
Sure his parents/manager might be doing it but he can shut them down.

Blind freddy knows we weren’t gonna win heaps of games this year, we were lucky to win 6-8 games with the roster and rookies coming in.

Can hardly blame Stefano, Galvin and others wanting out though. Who wants to play week in week out with some of the idiots we have in the squad making dumb errors costing us a chance every game and knowing nothing but losing.

Probably don’t see it as Mission Impossible…just that It will take years to rebuild this club … so easier just to go to a club that’s a winner now and likely get paid the same money

Coz that’s the way it was for years but the young men of today don’t see things that way. Looks like they have no compunction in leaving a sinking ship.

How long will it take to change this squad? They move at glacier pace …JL and Turuva in whilst Ice and likely Stef out … so not really an improvement to the squad overall…

At this rate a Top 8 team is years away … why wait around if you have 8 other suitors like Stefano supposedly has ?

I don't think this is Galvin at all. It's a DH player manager and his parents behind the agitation in my view. Not sure if its to coerce more money (as this would be on the cards anyway). The concern is they don't believe WT can be better in the future, even with the likes of Luai committing.

Why would u ask for a release unless some club has offered xyz , BUT no club can talk to him as he’s under contract.
So who would need him , which scum bag club would do that , hers my list
