Mate Richo responded and asked his assistant to coordinate a meeting with Betsy … I then said great and asked what times and days … and then radio silence since ?!?

It’s a bit weird. I thought maybe because of the Thursday game last week they were sorting that out first and then I thought maybe this week they’ve got too much on. I’ll reach out again next week but I haven’t gotten anything back
 
It makes sense that Galvin holds off on signing an extension. If you were him you would understand that you’re in demand and there are changes afoot at the Tigers. There is no need to sign anything until next year sometime after you see how things are going. I don’t expect him to sign any extension but that doesn’t mean he won’t sign one when the timing is right for him.

the kid is better than good,his stocks will only rise year 2 year if he stays fit,why lock in a long term contract

Or you stop putting the kid down. Maybe people need to ease up on both fronts. Every positive people say about Galvin you have to come in with the negatives.

Just enjoy we have a youngster so bloody competitive. It's quite a refreshing change. Of course he needs to work on a heap of ball playing subtleties to his game, we all know that.

Talking about 3rd parties, would it be better for Harry Triguboff to provide private sponsorship of players (3rd party deals) like Galvin rather than sponsor the club?

If he has no direct association with the club, he could provide millions to players we need to retain. I’m just not sure if he has a current association with the club.

Look that may well be a chance of happening, however I don’t see why it gets discussed before the kid has even completed his first year of first grade.
All the talking heads are over the top with praise and it will put huge pressure on him. Michael Ennis and Phil Gould sound like they want a relationship with him. Us fans know better than to do this. We’ve been burnt before.
