OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Galvin was a shining light in an otherwise very ordinary team. I'm not sure he would have had quite the same season in a better side. I know he's only very young but he's not particularly fast, he's not big and strong and he's just an okay defender. If you want to compare him to other great, young 5/8s he's no Fittler or Daley or Lockyer or even Todd Carney or Michael Morgan, all stronger and faster and better than Galvin at a young age. I'm not sure if he's a great fit for Luai either. I'm not saying he's no good, I'm just saying I wouldn't be throwing a million bucks at him.
We’ll be doing that.

Yes but we could be 1.2&1mil upwards, parra well look at their last season and storm much better than us and nothing seems to affect them.
Halves are not a bad space to invest a spare cple of mill..Bellamy is no fool
But Galvin is far from proven and opponents worked him out towards the end of the season
We will all be interested in how he fares this year..and just as interested in Latu.whom we haven't seen a lot of fully fit
Signing his other brother this week was expedient all round

The kid wants to be the best and from all reports he already trains like a superstar. He looked NRL ready as a skinny eighteen year old and he’s sure to grow into that sizeable frame. We should all be hoping the club rises to his level this year so he wants to stay put. I fully understand if he’s felt somewhere else would be a better career move over the past few years, it’s impossible to argue.

I'm guessing a Moses controlled Manly wld be interested to replace DCE....roosters currently grooming another tiny 6 and not such a great fit with Walker,so a definite interest..Dylan Brown looks like he wants out...and Munster past his best by date
So plenty of interest out there
And of course Dogs..interestedbin everybody
So if he plays well,he's gonna be hard to keep unless he bonds with club and coaching staff and we may have just as good a prospect in the club already
Gonna have the same issue with Bula in a year or two..again Tureva maybe a ready made option. One step at a time
Anything Moses touches were behind the 8 ball

id actually like to see the kid fill out ,be comfortable with his love for the club,if he has any?,center 2nd row lock .all based on Latu or a junior progressing .b4 a multi $ deal is in his face..

Could be a fake post, but came up on my Facebook, the source was the Mole, Roosters to make significant bid for Lachlan Galvin, well they cannot develop their own, so buying is there only option.

If you believe the media every club is interested in LG including Penrith

Is 5/8 Heath Mason's preferred position? or fullback.
he played exclusively in the halves growing up but moved to fullback in his first year of SG Ball to accommodate Galvin moving from the edge to 6.

I think he'd prefer to probably play in the halves but there is something of a logjam there. I feel like he's destined to wear the 14 once Tallyn and Latu find their way into the starting side.

He could be our Craig Wing....

Spot on and well said...I feel the same 100%...If I were Richo, I'd be sitting both Galvin and Latu Fainu down before round 1 and say to them, sign a 4 year extension and you are guarranteed to play alongside Luai for the rest of the year and beyond..otherwise you are second string 5/8.
This is a professional sport where
the best player should be selected each week no matter how long they are contracted to the club.
