I would assume Parra would be willing to let Brown go early to Newcastle.

So a potential trade might actually come from Newcastle in a 3 team deal scenario.

Entirely possible...Knights are stacked with backrowers. Dylan Lucas, Tyson Frizell and Thomas Cant looks alright too.

I reckon there is a quality player in KPP and think he would be a huge addition to our team.

Will Penisini is a very good player, I wound take him in a heartbeat, but cannot see the Eels letting him go.
I’d also be keen to take either Zac Lomax, Jack Williams or J’Maine Hopgood as a swap, but again I think the Eels would be reluctant to swap any of them.

Any deal with any club must be Galvin and Tumeth both go. ( i made it a special deal ). Then we select who WE want from said club

I'd be playing Galvin in the centres from now on. That includes training as a centre

We are already paying a little bit of Sullivan's salary to pay for the Rabbitohs and you want Galvin who might be on $400k or so to just sit in reserve grade when we can literally sell him next year to someone for $700k+ and use that salary to buy a centre or a backrower?

I'm all for sticking it to Galvin but doing it at the team's expense is literally the opposite of Team First mentality.

We are playing Douehi at halfback this week, a guy who hasn't played halfack every in his NRL career and the last time he played in the halves was probably 2 years ago.

The narrative will very quickly change from pro-Tigers. Basically, within a day or two, people will see Galvin's side of things (again, Galvin is not wrong for declining the offer). The other side of the coin is that Galvin doesn't want to commit to the team that has come last 3 years in a row and has a coach who clearly doesn't have a resume to be a first grade coach.

Yeah it sounds like a great decision, leave a team on the up for a team that finished 16th last season and is currently 17th. Yep onwards & upwards there for sure. I can’t wait to see him & Mitchell Moses in the battle of the egos.

KPP & Tyson Frizell, that will free up plenty of cap for the Knights moving forward, give us a strike right-side backrower & a great culture leader who can cover middle & edge providing effort and strong defence. This would be immense and finalise our forward pack for '26 if we could pull it off.
