I don’t think it was stupid at all, it shows they care about the club and will not allow anyone including team mates to try and make us look 2nd class.100%
It was stupid of both Luai and Tito to make it all so public.

Do you mean muppets?Imagine 2 puppets in the halves 😂
He’s at manipulative grub of the highest order. That F snake Gould to be trusted as far as you could throw him, It's looking like dogs or eels now as the likely destination.
I’m amazed at how much Luai has taken to this club. He’s having a ball here. Probably feels like he left the Panthers at the right time too with their decline. Probably feels like their decline has something to do with him moving on too and them not willing to prioritise him has him him feeling vindicated. He’s loving life.I don’t think it was stupid at all, it shows they care about the club and will not allow anyone including team mates to try and make us look 2nd class.
Moses has played this perfectly. He is forcing Galvin to get out of the club one way or another before his contract ends. Be it unattainable behavior, mental health or other means.
Moses knows how to get the outcome he wants
You're exactly right.Slightly different angle now. We've all put the boot in, and deservedly so.
I'm just going to suggest that Benji might STILL be doing the absolute best thing for Galvin in playing him in KOE now.
Given the public backlash to what has happened- if he lined up for ANY club next week in 1st grade, the absolute scrutiny on him would be "Luke Brooks at the Tigers" level.
We all know he is going to get paid.
It MIGHT be prior to the start of next season. If I was a player manager of scruples, I would suggest to Galvin (and his dad apparently)that the best course is to play out your Tigers contract in the darkness of KOE, learn what you can- don't cause issues & let the media cool on him.
That way- in 2027, the narrative won't be on how he has a lot to live up to, but more a redemption arc of fallen player rising again.
A year and a half away from the camera would make most people either forget, forgive or just stop caring. And would remove a bit of the pressure.
If he steps into another top 17 squad between now & the start of next season- he CANNOT struggle or he is going to be pilloried.
His management team have done him absolutely no favours here. For an incomplete player- his next outing has to be Joey Johns level or he's not outrunning this stigma.
They went after Benji’s ego and got a nibble. How I see the Richo playbook ...
1 - Richo sits down with leadership group today to mentor them on keeping their emotions in check and how to now handle this situation for them to develop as leaders.
2 - Part of this is for the leadership group to support Galvin as a team mate and help him win some respect back from the entire team.
3 - At this stage Galvin is here for another 18 months, he can continue to be an important part of the squad.
4 - Show we're a club that can rise above any situation
I have a different take. The backlash was the planned outcome to get him out of the club sooner. We just have to play it cool and “support” Galvin the best we can…You're exactly right.
This has backfired dramatically on him (and his side in this), and the best thing he can do is go off-grid for a bit.
In 2025 (where the news cycle is akin to a blurred instagram feed) things are quickly forgotten as attention is incessantly shoved towards the next shiny thing.
In a year's time he can resurface and (if needed) give another superficial spiel of contrition and how he has grown, blah blah blah....
We won't forget - or care about his perfunctory apologies for that matter - but I think the only form of damage control they have available now is time and silence.
Maybe we should've made him wrestle every player in the club hey Phil?https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/s...e/news-story/e0616f6146fac7915218d85874422489
The RLPA will meet with the Wests Tigers over their handling of Lachnlan Galvin’s decision to leave the club, after Bulldogs boss Phil Gould raised grave concerns for the 19-year-old’s mental health and welfare.
Well said BAGNF05Somebody check on Toby Sextons welfare!
To be fair to Turuva he did come here for more money but he also did win two premierships and didn’t bag the coach on the way out 😂.After seeing social media it’s safe to say no one is buying the bullshit from the Galvin camp. As long as turuva and the crew stop with the public humiliation I think it'll stay that way... It was ok from Luai... But turuvas was to blatant and I am pretty sure he came here for money too lol
If the RLPA are talking to the Wests Tigers, they better have a stern word with Isaac Moses & Dad Galvin too. Hypocritical if they don't. I hope Brent Read & Riccio follow that up!Well said BAGNF05
How did the Bulldogs and Gus go in looking after Joseph Topine’s welfare ?
They couldn’t wait for a reason to get rid of Addo-Carr, how was his welfare ?
As you mentioned, he will have no problem shafting Toby Sexton if he can land Galvin, he’s a manipulative grub.
Good point. Same play as all the rest before him (Moses, Aloiai, Matterson).I have a different take. The backlash was the planned outcome to get him out of the club sooner. We just have to play it cool and “support” Galvin the best we can…
On ya Gushttps://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/s...e/news-story/e0616f6146fac7915218d85874422489

Storm in a teacup. On ya Gus
Inflate his ego, then blame his club and call the authorities, then sign the player.
Well done. 👏 👏👏👏
I hate the NRL

Why do anything for the little shit , he has done nothing to support OUR team , what he has tried to do is derail our season with a bloody disgraceful attack on benji , the bloke u gave him his start and had done nothing more than support him . Play the the little shit in Ron Massey cup , well away from the blokes he crapped on , that way he can’t complain, because the club doesn’t have to play him in any gradeI have a different take. Is he for real ?
