He did, he had to clarify that he was talking about Moses ‘his agent’ talking to Galvin, not Moses the player (even though they have also spoken).

Team Moses (Benny, Issac and Mitch) or Parramatta the club..
He has 3 players on his books that are on NRL contracts all at different stages of their careers.
Munster.
Illias.
Pezet.
And the rest are juniors.
He seems more personally invested in his players than attached to them for business reasons.

I am going to agree with you,
But perhaps Braith Anasta isn't the best judge of Character. You know if say Tim Mannah or Brett Hodgson said someone was a shithead then ill rate that.
Galvin himself would have to be the leading candidate.

After watching this, Eels have been cooking this up for a while. Mose and Galvin having dates, telling him how bad Tigers are. Understand he grew up supporting parra but they didn’t want you.
Sign a massive deal there Lachie, Moses has done another upgrade, you two take up their cap and have nothing left for a decent pack to play behind.
Jason Ryles as coach will teach you everything about playing 6. Can not wait for the Eels vs Tigers grudge matches into the future.
I still can’t believe it has come to this. Proud of the club. Lets show the slimmers Monday we mean business.

I emailed Richo on this - if its parra there is no one that is of equal to Galvin that they will let go. Moses and Lomax only and I would say Galvin is more valuable than Lomax as a half and with 15 years in front of him.
Richo needs to get the best player he can BUT also add that we can negotiate at any point in the future with up to 2 players, before their Nov 1 contract period and if a deal can be done wiht that player that they get an immediate release.
That way if they have a gun junior in two years, or a good player we need, we can get them over to us straight away.
Its like when we got Steff from Parra and they wouldnt release him early.
If we get this cluase in their with ANY team we do a swap with - then we can get two players in the future... basically cherry pick the ones we want. BUT thats on top of getting a player we want now - but as we've said there's probably no one of value. AND even if they are of value - because Parra or Dogs want LG so bad, i would still push for that clause in their.

Could also end up another Brodie Croft....
Doesn't do anything and ends up in England in his early 20s, playing well and begging for an NRL return.
Attitude is a lot & he has shown a real lack of class, directly or indirectly.

The so-called player swap legitimizes this disgraceful episode which culminated in Marshall, a premiership winner, approx 40 odd Kiwi rep and a 5/8 great having his coaching tarnished as a means by which the mgmt team can exit Galvin from his contractual obligations. Stuff the player swap and keep Galvin until end of 26. Galvin should be made to fulfill his contract otherwise this will happen again with the next schoolboy superstar we produce.

I’ve got no problem with Lachie Galvin leaving the Wests Tigers and no doubt he’ll one day play for NSW and Australia.
Good luck to him. But the way this week has played out has made me sick to my stomach.
This is the third time this season, and we’re only coming into round seven, that we’ve had a farcical contract circus take over the entire game. First Dylan Brown’s signing with Newcastle. Then the Daly Cherry-Evans drama that’s still going, and now a week of nothing but headlines about Galvin and the Tigers.
The 19-year-old has big money, big responsibility and a ton of pressure all coming his way, whether he leaves the club today, tomorrow, in a month or at the end of 2026.
I’m most disappointed for the Tigers fans, the longest-suffering in the game, for this to blow up their season after just six rounds when they finally look a genuine chance of playing finals football for the first time since 2011.
The NRL and the Rugby League Players’ Association need to get on the same page around contracts and player movements to sort this current mess out because right now – it’s hurting rugby league. And it’s the fans who suffer most.

In my opinion, player managers have far too much power in the game, and that needs to change. The fact that managers can act for coaches as well is an absolute joke to me.
We see that influence on clubs when they’re loaded up with an agent’s clients at both coaching and playing levels, and it just keeps happening.
For Benji Marshall’s coaching to be questioned by Galvin or his manager is disrespectful. And given the history his manager Isaac Moses has with the club, the question has to be asked – and is certainly already being suggested anyway – is this a play to get Galvin out of the Tigers part of a personal agenda against the Tigers and Benji?
If it is, the NRL needs to step in.
Benji has only played 346 NRL games, only played 31 times for the Kiwis, only won a premiership, a World Cup and a Golden Boot. So if anyone knows how to coach a young playmaker, it’s Benji. Especially with a four-time premiership-winner in Jarome Luai already in his halves.
I’ll be very interested to see how Galvin develops under other NRL coaches because I’m still sure he will kick on and do well in the game. But I’ve loved the way the Tigers’ attack has grown this season. I can see Benji’s fingerprints all over it.
As for the Tigers senior players urging the coach to drop Galvin to NSW Cup, that’s about trust. You have to trust your teammates in this game. If you don’t have trust from the man defending next to you, you’re toast.

I think the Tigers senior men, like plenty of people watching from outside the club’s four walls, are disappointed with the way it’s been handled and the narrative that’s been pushed about Benji Marshall.
Again, good luck to Lachie. From what I’ve had to do with him, he’s a great young fella.
But it also feels like he is being used as a pawn in something bigger, and I hate the process that has unfolded.

Then he finds himself in the 2 x wooden spoon first grade team and is a part of the third spoon. This isn't what they want 😂

They wanted him straight into Penrith winning comps at 19.

Assume you mean if we make the finals without him, it would only be in case of injury to other players ?
Hard to disagree with this Paws. Would love to see him sitting on the bench in reggies for the next 2 years. I'm just concerned how destabilizing it is to the playing group of both first and second grade. It's all the media will be talking about also taking the attention away from our first-grade team. The whole situation stinks.
