He did, he had to clarify that he was talking about Moses ‘his agent’ talking to Galvin, not Moses the player (even though they have also spoken).Well that was no surprise, just expected Danny Wanker would be given the exclusive. Didn't Isaac and Benny roll out a similar script for Teddy and The Nephew Princess? Can someone remind me how Benny is relevant, apart from being related to Moses, he did disclose that right?
Wonder Boy.Lachlan Will Brooks Galvin ?
I don’t remember this being reported last year. Only that they managed to get him to agree to stay, not extend.I was just reminded that Galvin signed a contract extension under Benji in 2024 for more more and till the end of 2027.
So it echoes that the issues began again when Luai came along and he had to share the throne, even though Luai took a backseat in the interest of Galvin and the team.
Who is we I wonder?Wow!!! “I can’t really comment too much what we’re doing around that” Mitch Moses re Galvin. May have put his foot in it there (even Fletch’s facial expression was surprised he said that).
He has 3 players on his books that are on NRL contracts all at different stages of their careers.Braith also being a player manager himself.
I am going to agree with you,Galvin is not even the best 19 year old in our club, let alone the best ever ….. spare me !
A fit Latu Fainu , is a better defender , better ball skills , faster, more explosive off the mark , he’s more deceptive with his ball playing , and can make players miss with the ball in his hands.
Galvin has a better kicking game , and has such a good motor , he’s always putting himself in the frame .
And I just heard Braith Anasta pretty much let the cat out of the bag , that Galvin is in fact , exactly what everyone is speculating . Not a good kid , which the media has been painting him out to be. But rather a shithead , who rubs his teammates up the wrong way.
What because hes 19 you can’t say it ? How many of us have worked with a kid , who you thought wow .. this guys parents have failed big time in the raising a good human category . Clearly only read the cover of that book ..l
Galvin himself would have to be the leading candidate. This is my concern…
well not anymore its Luai time again lets see how good this team can really be with Luai in full controlI was just reminded that Galvin signed a contract extension under Benji in 2024 for more more and till the end of 2027.
So it echoes that the issues began again when Luai came along and he had to share the throne, even though Luai took a backseat in the interest of Galvin and the team.
100% listen to M. Moses speak about Galvin so clear he holding something back.
Could also end up another Brodie Croft....Just really can't bear the sight of Galvin in 5 years time being origin player winning premiership and fulfilling his potential
Use archive.is/article linkCan someone paste the Fitzsimmons article here? My old AI trick doesn't work anymore where I could ask it to show me the article behind the paywall
Assume you mean if we make the finals without him, it would only be in case of injury to other players ?No point adding to the bullshit. We tried to offer the kid $1 million plus over 5 years because he’s bloody good and will get a lot better. I think it’s time for the club to bring some form of maturity to all this (who knows maybe they already have) and try to build a bridge with Lachy. We may need him come finals time.
Hard to disagree with this Paws. Would love to see him sitting on the bench in reggies for the next 2 years. I'm just concerned how destabilizing it is to the playing group of both first and second grade. It's all the media will be talking about also taking the attention away from our first-grade team. The whole situation stinks. The so-called player swap legitimizes this disgraceful episode which culminated in Marshall, a premiership winner, approx 40 odd Kiwi rep and a 5/8 great having his coaching tarnished as a means by which the mgmt team can exit Galvin from his contractual obligations. Stuff the player swap and keep Galvin until end of 26. Galvin should be made to fulfill his contract otherwise this will happen again with the next schoolboy superstar we produce.
