I’m not saying I agree with it. Like I said in another post , I see it as a move on a chess board .
This is a game now . Involving the usual suspects now it seems . It’s like if your doing a roll call on all the worst people in nrl they’re all here now .
We’ve got Isaac Moses check . Mitchell Moses check. Benny Elias check . The parramatta eels . Check . So the gangs all here now . We know the playbook. We saw it used against us almost 10 years ago . It’s being played out beat by beat.
All I’m saying is , if I apply the HR corporate logic I have to work around all day , to this situation .. then there’s no way a hr person isn’t recommending Richo give Turuva a verbal warning .
It’s horseshit .. I know . But I’ve seen it . Experienced it .
Man I just did an e learn about its discrimination and bullying to not ask someone their pronouns when you introduce yourself . This is the world we live in.

I think he only joined up with the Moses camp at the end of last year because Liam Ayoub stepped away from being a player manager to take a role at Manly.

Some of the people involved don’t seem that sharp to me. Moses going on radio and admitting something is happening. Benny jumping on TV to support his cousin with a load of waffle. Richo is the smart guy in this situation.

It's a game of chess. We are giving away a pawn to trap the queen. 1 week out for Turuva to ensure we keep Galvin as a bargaining chip for a better player.

We MUST punish Turuva for the greater good of the team.

Not because we think it's right, not because Turuva is worse than Galvin, but because the risk is that Moses and his mate Clint Newton at the RLPA use that agaisnt the club to get Galvin out of the club ---- the tigers then lose our power to get a player trade.

It's about perception. Tick the box and let Turuva know on the side why. It's not a big deal in the scheme of things if we get a potential state of origin level player in return.

Again, it's not a decision I agree with in principle, but it's a sacrifice we must make to continue to hold the power in this situation.

If we don't think like this, we will lose.

Moses plays chess not checkers. As they say dont bring a knife to a gun fight.

No way Galvin will be released anytime soon.

I’ve said it plenty of times, he has loved the eels his hole life. Yes they may have cut him and cost his old man $10k (as I read on here), but if the Tigers came running back with Benji taking ya out for lunch and giggles, saying we need you, what Tigers fan wouldn’t go back?

I told the DH neighbour (eels fan) the arvo this blew up he’d be going back there.
At first DH was all like what a little brat, until I told him he was an eels fan and junior growing up, you could see DH’s opinion change.
God I hope we smash them on Monday.

Playbook here was expected and planned for. Create such an obscene drama player hates coach to make playing there untenable and seek a release likely on mental health grounds via RLPA.
Tigers handled this very well. From a team perspective it’s a solid signal of unity we haven’t had for years

The key here is the development of Latu Fainu. Also who we end up with in return and how well we use the 1m allocated to Galvin to improve the team.

I sense it’s the Eels and if so smart play would be to get players in return now. We could do with Pearce Paul, Best or Lomax.
