OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

If that dumb oaf thinks we’re in the wrong, then we’re definitely doing something right.

The intelligent part of Woods clearly ended up on his parents mattress.
He doesn’t have a single brain cell in his head to formulate anything remotely resembling a coherent thought let alone an opinion .
He’s just regurgitating Isaac’s nonsense .
As soon as he brought up Matamua - a kid who’s been given every chance under the sun . They’ve changed his body type 3 times to figure out the secret sauce with him. And now he can’t beat out That Murray kid , and Bailey Hodges for a bench spot in KOE, so that’s the clubs fault ? What he’s supposed to be in nrl in front of who ? So he can come in and get smashed , make no metres , shuffle the ball on , and miss 5 tackles for 3 tries . Yea cool …
And Tumeth ? The kid was supposed to be the future on the edge and he’s done nothing since he signed the contract … but the clubs to fault right ? Go watch those 2 play . They’re both Sydney grade level . Matamua is lucky to be in Ron Massey. And that’s the clubs fault ? It’s the clubs fault for giving them a contract in the 1st place . Yea it is ! But it’s the players fault for not developing their game . It’s a simple sport . Work hard , lift hard play hard. Look at that Plath kid for the dolphins . He’s not the most talented kid , but he’s hard as nails and works his arse off . And he will wear a maroons jersey .
But yea it’s the clubs fault .

Interesting Aaron Woods said on triple m that Galvin was upset about Matamua and Brandon Tumeth being moved to Ron Massey cup - you can really start to see how we was starting to feel out of the loop. All his mates are leaving, but he better get used to that, it’s gong to happen every year, regardless of what club he’s at.
Galvin can go to Ron Massey with them?

Here's a little insight that offers another angle to all this...

Apparently, Galvin had said to his manager that he wanted to play for the Eels eventually but was happy to try his hand at WT. They did the extension in 2023 at Tigers, were a little unhappy with Benji buying all the halves and some of his mates not getting the same fast-track as him, etc. BUT it was the fact that he had to move to the right-hand side that really made him feel shafted.

It seems petty but Galvin sees himself as a left-hand specialist. It wasn't that Luai came but that he took precedence due to his left-foot kick. THEN when Brown informed Parra he was leaving, Moses and the Eels had it all planned out with Galvin to partner Moses but on his preferred left-hand side.

Make of that what you will but if there's some truth to this, it suggests quite a bit of entitlement.

He was gonna get that anyway...$$ same
He will still be playing second fiddle to M Moses.who wont be as accomodating as Luai, particularly if things dont go well at Parra
Its a really strange move, underpinned by I Moses vindictiveness and general dislike of not being in control

I could see that playing a part and to be fair there are a lot of players who play their best on one particular side of the field.
The only thing I would say in response to that is that I’m sure Galvin has spent plenty of time attacking on our left hand side this season despite defending and being based on the right, so it’s not as if he is being restricted to one side of the field.

Woodsys making shit up - Tumeth is older than Galvin and come from Balmain…
Would be shocked if they have any history outside the top 30 last year

And if Galvin is so intent on winning - he should be happy he’s not playing with Matamua and Tumeth…
Those blokes can’t even win U20’s games.

And Benji, despite Galvin saying he wants out publicly, still backing him to be the face of the club.

Its amazing you wouldn't want to play under someone who has developed you as much as Benji has and still has faith in you despite the stab in the back
What Benji says publicly and what he really feels Id say would be two very different things
He'd know Galvout is gone, wants out and has burnt his bridges, hes lost the respect of the team thats not easy to regain with guys like May Hunt Api Benji & Hodgo.
Benji knows he can say what he wants and it wont make a world of difference so just say whats best for the club and his team, he even copped one himself for the team saying ''most think I cant coach''

Yes, he played it like a pro...got a bit shitty at the end but who wouldnt with all those stupid unanswerable questions

lol replace Galvin with Moses in that story C and it’s truth . The lie is that Galvin gives a shit about a 22 year old Matamua and Tumeth . They’re all Moses clients

Could be some truth to this as Galvin is close to Matamua. I personally don't get what is going on with Matamua... I know the forum isn't a big fan but I thought when he came in last season, he straightened up our attack as a first receiver especially in the Titans and Canberra wins. He was poor defensively in the games after and deserved to be dropped for that, but so did Seyfarth and Bateman. In NSW cup last year he was our best forward. He created and set up quite a few tries in through the middle and scored a few himself.

Fast forward to the offseason and even Richo on the behind the roar podcast singled out Matamua as a standout in the preseason. To go from one of the best players in NSW Cup and standout in preseason to Ron Massey Cup at the start of the season, something has happened there. Probably has nothing to do with Galvin, he and his manager are just using and excuse.

Wow, sour grapes much.

Issac Moses "my client Brandon Tumeth gets moved to Ron Massey cup
WAH WAH WAH... Ill now pass this on to Woods to have a cry about it on Triple m.

How bad is this guy!

I get where you are coming from, I wonder the same with Matamua and Staines myself.... Yet look at the results.

We had our star forward pack leave. I was expecting Pole, Seyfarth, etc to get wiped out. On paper they should be wiped out. We replaced 4 stars with Terrell May and Hunt. Hunt is a battering ram, but can't carry a team...

Whatever we have done with our forward pack, has been 100% right.
