OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

If Galvin thinks he just walks into any other teamand can just play touch footy like he dies with us he's in for a very big culture shock.
This.

It's very strange...

Option 1] Parramatta.
They've likely got to shift D-Brown immediately to accommodate this.
We've babied him throughout his career. Mitchell Moses is a known sprayer, team mate blamer, sook. If Galvin dishes up what he has been at the Tigers, there'll be no holding back and he'll cop it, from Moses. He seems the emotional type, don't think he'll enjoy that vitriol.
Also their coaching system is abysmal.

Option 2] Bulldogs.
What seems to be a very well oiled machine, with some great coaching in place.
They will have to destabilise their current winning system in some way.
Wether that's shifting out Sexton or Hayward [who's been fantastic] off the bench. It's very destabilising for what is currently a winning formula. This could really de rail their season. It isn't like bringing in a bench Prop to help out when needed.

I think Option 2 is an awful move for the dogs & they deserve better, their success has been fantastic to see.

I've always felt he's off to Parra.
Few pieces to fall if that occurs.
We might see KPP to us sooner rather than later too, which is a win.

HOWEVER....
It would also be GREAT to see Parra offload a player to us. Not just Brown to Newcastle.
We need this to benefit us in some way, with Galvin leaving not just being the only positive, perceived or otherwise.

Agree Demps. I'm going to laugh my rear end off if he signs with the Dogs and one of the players in the team gets dropped or shipped off and that puts the rest of the group offside and not only derails this season if he goes there this year but turns him in to someone the group don't want anything to do with and fans don't want him. If the Dogs sign him it could really cause massive problems at the club. Someone's got to be shown the door in the competition leading team.

There's no need for any team to do a player swap .. only costs a potential club 150k .. all the clubs that have been talked about have a roster spot left .. 150k on a 12m salary cap .. we're just rolling over and giving him away .. weak as piss I reckon .. should see out his contract in reserve grade .. or even flegg if he continues to shit the bed .. learn some humility .. let moses take us to court .. who says we have to pick an 18/19 Yr in first grade .. and what other players "like" on Facebook isn't the clubs doing.. stuff the grub.. he thinks he controls the whole comp and aparantly is getting away with it.. NRL are very spineless on this..

I cant profess to fully understand the politics of this situation with the details I am reading here , but my take is we can’t allow this loss to occur with some reward this time . Surely Richo has got a plan B that involves a player swap or we do as originally planned and play him reserve grade as per original threats. I cant believe we would rollover again and let a player manager run the agenda

Where is Luai going?
If you read the original post - he isn't going anywhere. The time to start succession planing and development is now - if we are a professional club it is the next step logical step now Galvin is going - we have a 9 being developed, we have a one being developed, we will be developing a 6 (Latu F) so who is Luai's replacement in the future?

He will have a lot of trust to earn where ever he ends up...I can imagine some of his new ''team mates'' might be a little suss on him
Id imagine guys like Api & Romey have a wide network of mates around the NRL...partiuclarly old Panthers mates at the Dogs....might not be as easy for wonderkid as he thinks

You are right and wrong. What has Luai done for us?

To clarify this, you think there's a player swap coming... Gould didn't say that (because I misinterpreted and then went to read the tweet)

His tweet was:
Anything happen in rugby league today? …
I’ve been too busy to scratch myself …
Yes. Implying he’s been in meetings, I believe maybe there’s a swap on the cards, probably involving Toby Sexton.
