OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Some of these moron commentators will wank on endlessly and give Galvin full credit for a try if he has touched the ball at any stage during the set leading up to it.

They will have to create a new criteria for what counts as a try assist.
Try assist from the bench would be great

There are indications that emotion drove Gould in this signing and that if he had his time again, Latu Fainu was the player the Dogs required.
Yeah I can't see their approach to playing him at 7 is going to work,
the godfather looks to have this decision wrong, but what does he do when they don't fit in, normally they just move them on but his ego might prevent that.
One hopes that he gets too big for his boots and he gets the arse like he did at the Riff.
Funnily enough if that happened we could use him as a GM of football, he does turn clubs around.

As for Galvin I think he will be a useful footballer, just don't know what's his best position with his body still growing too many unknowns.

It’s going to happen when he is a new player under 50 NRL games and introduced to a winning team as he has been.
Look it is.

But it's been with both the WT and Dogs that he has costed teams key games at key moments. It's clear the guy has ability and Galvin has a lot to work on.

For a dude like Sullivan, who showed respect and tried to earn their place. I have every sympathy when as a newer player they may drop the ball or fluff it.

Galvin, who told Sexton to move out of his way when he is going gangbusters... It's just snide arrogance. When your mouth says your king $#it and you can't back it up, enjoy the applause.

What do you mean he told Sexton to move out of his way? Do you mean when he followed his coaches instruction?
I didn’t hate on Sullivan like most did. He often seemed the only player we had who could create scoring plays.

There is no excuse (1001+) for being perennial losers, its not galvins fault, except for dropping the winning try against Souths

Yep that’s the thing. It might be a couple more years before his career position is identified.
I get a luke Lewis feel about him and I don't know why Lewis was a great player and defence top shelf and fast when young played tough and with alot of heart

And I see none of that in Galvin maybe body shape and height but nothing else

I contrast Galvin with AD.

Galvin, we give him 5/8. Most games we put him in 5/8. Yet I don't know what his career position will be, people say Lock as thats what he played in Juniors but NRL first grade is a lot more physical.

Doueihi we gave him 5/8, 7, fullback (at least once). The only time I have seen some kind of consistency from him was when we put him at Center this year....
Then we changed him again.

The truth is, the player managers in both cases did not allow the players to find their best position.
IM demanded that Galvin be put in the halves or he walks.
AD demanded to not be center, or he walks. It was only when AD came back from injury and went min val that he even accepted center.

We have to change this attitude.

galvin looks like he has had it all come to easy for him , Strikes me a as weak natured bubby. Part of me is happy with him becoming a goat

Yes he did what he did.

Was he told by CC to throw a grenade into the Dogs training room?
maybe.

IMHO it's still a crap thing to do and shows a lack of character. Sure people are guiding him the wrong way? Most definately. Still it's a poor move and the guys character will only become worse following that poor advice. .. How you destroy, not build teams.

I still can’t get over that haircut. In this day and age, young kids in their teens and early 20’s prioritise their looks. You see what styles and haircuts are in fashion. And it’s definitely not the bowl cut. Can only imagine his wardrobe.
