OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

He went ok. Individually I dont think he added anything extra to the team that Sexton doesn't but they have made their position clear which way they are headed

Saints got dudded tonight. 2 very ordinary refereeing calls.
people praising Galvin for that, i mean seriously. Sloan should be investigated for match fixing. the worst defensive read I've seen all year. it was literal even numbers, the only way the dogs were scoring if someone shot the winger. or he shoots out of the line and watches from 20 metres out the big Fijian in blue and white score in the corner.
and the Leilua call. Jesus Christ that was egregious. The dog's player had one knee on the ground. you're supposed to be fully upright to be entitled to play the ball. the refs forgot the rules for a second... oh no it's the chosen team this year the bulldogs. nothing to see... the nrl wants a Canberra raiders/ dogs grand final . 2 of the dirtiest teams in the league are best in the league in penalties conceded. Bullshit.

Makes a lot of sense from the dogs POV to bite the bullet on Galvin now rather than later. Dragons haven’t been fairly poor this year (even lost to us!) so it’s a pretty low-risk gamble the dogs are taking.

Chances are dogs win this game as their team is overall far superior to the dragons and the media feasts all over Ciraldos brilliant move to put Galvin at halfback, even though the result likely would have been the same had Sexton played 🤷‍♂️.
Called it haha!

100% and they were momentum changers..
It still kills me that for all the tech, the bunker, sideline refs, the dozens of camera angles, and a million pairs of eyes watching the game, they still get get it so wrong.
No matter which team gets dudded, (except where view is completely obscured) there's just no excuse when its obvious.

Being directly responsible for half their tries including the clutch play to win the game is not deserving of criticism.
His other games deserved it, but not this one.
Yeah but even after all that, the bulldogs struggled to beat a bottom four team, I think that’s what people are trying to say. He was bought in to unlock their attack and it’s no better than what Sexton was doing on half the price tag

Media article bagging the shit out of Galvinator ..there is no doubt the Bulldogs look a much worse side since he has gone there ..they were very fortunate to win last night..

Through more luck than good management..the Tigers have avoided being chained to this kid

The game Latu had against the Roosters, I’m still yet to see Galvin have that much of an outcome on a result.

Don’t u just love the commentary on poor Galvin and all the pressure he was under! He f put the pressure on himself, no one else did it, he put it all on himself with his actions. Why does everyone feel sorry for him??? He is the villain not the innocent party!! He his manager and his father put all the pressure on him, blame them, no one else. So sick of hearing this bullshite hero crap. Guys a knob, look how he carries himself, dumb ass grin.

They are banking on Galvin’s ceiling being higher.
It’s a big call as his consistency is not at Sexton’s level….however his strike could eclipse his and that’s where the gamble may pay off.

Strange had a blinder yesterday....he maybe suffered a bit of 2nd year last year....'23 he hit the ground running.
Who do they have replacing Fogarty?
I think their plan was to move strange to 7 weekes to 6

They have another gun fullback in lower grades who played NSW 20s .. can’t remember his name

Stuart probably didn’t think Weekes would go this well at the back though so who knows

News.com.au reporting that Galvin was rocks and diamonds. Other than his try and cut out pass was largely ineffective. Will only intensify the scrutiny on whether it was the right decision to drop Sexton.

At least someone has taken off the rose coloured glasses.
That's probably about right but one other thing is for certain: Kyle Flanagan is the worst half in the comp.
