OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Some are still stuck in the 80’s like someone is going to go Bob Cooper or Les Boyd on him. Everyone knows at absolute best there will be a bit of push and shove. Cheap shots don’t exist in this day and age.
The once a game Skeleton missile would be fine by me. Perfectly legal and has definitely shortened up a couple. Not sure he will have a spot this week after his defensive effort.

We will come out looking stupid this week against the dogs. We will more than likely get pumped and I think I might sit this week out. I don't think I can watch Galvins smug face if he scores against us.
I prefer a selective memory. He just needs to do one wrong thing for me to bag him all week. If he scores or set up tries, I'll have the memory of a gold fish.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned, however watching the Dogs game on the weekend, the way Brandy and the other commentators fawn over anything Galvin does is sickening...they seem to go quiet when he does something really dumb. There was one play where he didn't throw a forward pass and ended up getting tackled and they scored off the next play...his contribution was playing the ball. Brandy then went on to give Galvin credit for the try by not throwing a forward pass the play before WT (actual) F, he mentioned it multiple times. So, I'm tuning out this weekend because the Galvin love fest will be absolutely next level.

There were coaches out there , they took Benji on , it’s the clubs call and it now seems it was a dumb one , Our coaching is very poor , our team can’t attack or defend , the 2 most important parts of the game , Benji is also protecting himself with his assistants who are all bog average and wouldn’t take his job , Flanno , Brad Arthur. ,
What gets me , we have two of the panthers players join us , benji as a new coach , why would u not ask luai and turuva, what made the panthers so good ,
1) what was there pre season like
2) what drills did they do in defence
3) how did the set out there attacking drills
U don’t have to follow it to the letter , but gee I would have picked there info for sure .
I have said this all season , no attack in side the oppositions 20 metre, bloody to much one out hit ups .
Players blowing like a gale , in defence well before other teams
Time for a new broom

Yeah well I think Hunt is on the outer with Benji. He’s had ample opportunity to reinstate him when we’ve been down on troops but he just won’t.
You could be right we have seen Naden get on the wrong side of him and pay the price.
But I tend to think it's a get your minutes up and your weight down to expectations then we'll see him again, ego won't get in the way of what the team desperately needs more aggression.
Benji isn't stupid he's watching our games he can see what's missing.

Yeah we could use his impact, overweight or not, even for just 20 minutes a game. It’s more than we have now.

There's seems to be a few of us who can't bare to watch the game vs the doggies this week... I will be attempting to join the club, but don't know if the temptation will get the better of me... Might need to go for a surf so I have no access to my phone 🤣🤣

Benji was coached by Ivan. I’m sure he already remembers what Ivan introduced to the Tigers and later the Panthers that turned the tide. The main difference between those two squads that season is the depth of squad. In 2018 we had the deepest roster we have fielded since about 2011, everyone of our Top 30 had debuted and or had multiple games in the top grade. On the other hand this is probably the shallowest squad we’ve had since the 2013 season.

I’m thinking of taking a short trip to Alaska this weekend. That should be far enough away not to hear anything I hope.

This weekend could be quite depressing. Fully expecting a bulldogs drubbing and Galvin to score a try somewhere then the media lauds him for making the best decision etc. etc. etc.

The worst part is this is the first game I can watch since coming back from overseas. Really gonna need a bye round to recover. 😭 😭 😭
