OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

When Gus Gould says he is "the best young player he as ever seen and teams will win premierships with him in it" people listen (including Galvin/s ) - truth or not. Any pumping up we did was small change compared to the over the top comments made by Gould.
he looked good with us because we suck and he could develop without the pressure, read into his own hype way too early

Mate one of my favourite teen sensations was Tim Brasher just loved him

Galvin is not in my top junior sensations

Rate others above him

Val Holmes was electric when he started at the Sharks
Katoa

Galvin mite turn out to be Michael Lichaa but I think he could be the best ball playing lock of the next 10 years

Benji ?

Yes Benji and the warriors had some great junior forwards playing in there teens and the East centre that went to play Rugby he debuts at 17 from memory
Benji is the most entertaining footballer I’ve ever seen and that is the entire reason I watch footy. Those first Few years and a few around 2010 era when his injuries settled down and he had realised he could do things others couldn’t and played with that added confidence, he was just amazing to watch.
That’s why when people talk about Cam Gronk I’m a bit like but how boring? But hey, one of them was the greatest cheating, manipulative, grub in the history of the game and although I’m usually win at all costs, I hope if I were in that situation I would at least say no to all the torture tackles against his own kind. I would definitely have cheated the cap though, tbbh.

How many of these blokes you mentioned came into grade as an 18 year old rookie and were tasked with carrying a wooden spoon team?
Almost single handedly

Benji.
Although I think we came second last in 2002?

Still love ya Benji!!!
We'd never won a spoon until a few years ago.

Benji played 3 games as an 18 year old (In 2003)
In a myriad of Positions (Debuted at Fullback if I remember)

Played less than 10 the year after before injury, about half of them in the halves.
Played behind Scott Prince in 05, and less than half a season (Behind Prince) in 06.
Injured again for a fair bit of 07,

Benji wasn't tasked with leading this team until his mid 20's, 08-11 when he hit his prime.

If all of the above wasn't the case - It still wouldn't be a fair comparison,
There's been 1 Benji Marshall in 120 odd years of Footy.

I will leave my Benji rose coloured glasses on face for now. 😎

At the dogs, Galvin has to play within a structure, he doesn't have the same freedom he had at the tigers...

Surely Ciraldo can't persist with him as a #7 again next year....

on 360 tonight ,clip of Critter giving it to the team behind goal posts v Sharks
Galvin was more worried about teasing/ getting his hair-do right.
He wont set the world a light ,if ever , until he is comfortable in his skin

Yeah noticed that too! Galvin reminds me a bit of The Sherminator from American Pie, those who can remember that movie from 20 odd years ago.

Those crested pecker head haircuts don't stand up to the wind to well M, maybe he should of run to the sideline for someone to get him a mirror.
