OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

The Gould Factor he has over hyped this kid, what he really needed was time to develop.
The kid's green just like his old man's fairways and putting surfaces.

Best thing for the whinging little turd would have been to stay here (best for him, not for us) where he was basically given a free reign and was playing his best football probably on more money than he is currently getting.

Geez, him moving on, apart from derailing our season, was still the best thing that could have happened for us in the long run and I think we are seeing the benefits of it already.

Glad to see the back of him and to see him over at the Dogs damaging their prospects while commentators gush over him and hold him in awe.

It's really quite vomit inducing to see commentators like Matty Johns whose opinions and knowledge of the game I previously respected, carry on the way he does and he is just one of many.

Just on Gould ...caught 100%Footy last night and each guest Ciraldo, Issah Yeo and Danny Buderras during their air time each made specific reference to Gould and how they are grateful for his influence and how they owe him blah blah and he is sitting there with that stupid look on his face. It was so obvious that it felt staged - to me anyway.
Can't understand estimate the ridiculous stronghold he has over so many people in the game who appear to have him on a pedestal or do a good job of pretending to

Very ironic that he moved to get better development and now he looks over-coached and has lost his natural instincts.
Yep - he was bought up playing eyes up footy. Unfortunately, he doesn’t seem to posses the natural athleticism to play that way at the elite level.

He is a bit of an anomaly in the sense that a lot of young halves rely on their individual brilliance but struggle with the speed of the game and building their endurance over time. He has that in spades.

Im loving BuLLdogs in attack.

They're totally reliant on individual talent.
Maybe Adam O'brien can do for Preston's game at the Dog's what he did for KPP at Newsastle.

I mean that would be hilarious, Jacob Preston being one of the only things that at times makes Galvin look reasonably okay, I mean, Preston's line running on the right edge at times is superb and I believe Galvin receives way too much credit for the results that Preston produces.

I know it would be difficult but I'm sure that if anyone can get that out of Preston's game then AOB is probably the man.

I think the best thing for the club was him to go him and Luai didn't work Galvin just crabing across field with some moments of brilliance and his ego didn't fit with the squad and the commentators wetting themselves I just didn't like

I wish him all the best he is going to have a very tough time mentally and this offseason will make or break him he has to move to the forwards play 13 use all his fitness and energy as a link man

The more I think about the player he could become like the more I think of Luke Lewis

Galvin is playing out of position at the moment and looks pretty average.

I do think if Mitch Woods develops well, Canterbury could become a really dominant team in 4/5 years. From what I have heard, those two are the fittest in the squad, which is a strong foundation for leadership.

Until then, I will keep enjoying the downfall.

Just out of coincidence i have a family memeber whos a dogs supporter who had surgury yesterday at a Gold Coast hospital and Sextons mum was one of his nurses. She was saying they absolutly hate Ciraldo and Gould. Apparently they took her, her husband and Toby out to dinner to talk to them to calm things down, she said they told them that all the Galvin talk was media b.s and Toby was secure in his role as 7. They told them that its insane they would replace the 7 of the team that was in the top 4 and a team moving along comfortably. They told her thats how they could know it was just media rubbish because it doesnt make any sense. She said a few days later they signed Galvin. The family were angry they were lied to. I told my family member its incase they didnt sign Galvin, then they would lose Sexton aswell. Told him id imagine it happens all the time behind closed doors. Told him his clubs run by snakes.

If thats true then Gould is a seriously scary person.

I just presume if Gould's caught telling the truth it's an accident.
I’ll never forget when first he took over the Panthers, there was speculation Luke Lewis and Michael Jennings would both leave. He was interviewed and was unequivocal in his wording that they would both be there the following year. A week later, they’d both signed for other clubs. He’ll say whatever is convenient in the moment he’s speaking, irregardless if what he says will still be true 5 mins later.
