Galvin if the dogs keep going the way they are will be the next player with stress and need a rest , his manager his father and mother and Gus all did this to him , talked him up , pulled him out of a team struggling to go to a team on top and then it all implodes , he was marked as the bulldogs saviour when they were already on top of the comp , going along nicely , had a team winning tough games , n comes the saviour and it’s just gone backwards so fast he has to be part of the blame , maybe some players there still hate the fact their mates got punted , Sexton , and the crazy one for a so called saviour hat has done nothing since he arrived except turn the team upside down to a weak bottom of comp outfit , Galvin himself Also did this to himself with his weak actions against Benji who had him playing some ok footy , I do feel for Galvin a bit as I don’t think he is very smart and his family make the calls and they think he is the best thing since white bread , I do see the dogs getting worse over the balance of the season , they won’t make the 8 , and Galvin will get roasted by their fans , he will also leave the dogs if they start 2027 same way , loosers

I look forward to Dogs games almost as much as Tigers just to laugh at how terrible Galvin is.
I'm hoping for an Ash Taylor kind of career for him.
Hopefully he is washed up and working in the mines by 25 and becomes a trivia question.

This Storm game is the one I been looking forward to, I want our boppers to absolutely melt that marshmallow and I love watching Bellend when he’s losing. It’s a shame we have injuries it’s levelled it up a bit, but if we’re the real deal then we need to beat sides in the bottom half even with the inevitable injury or four.

People defend Galvin because “he is putting in the effort” and “has been one of their best” and is scoring tries and has some try assists.

But they forget to realise that the reason he is over represented in these stats/effort areas is because he gets involved way too much and if you keep throwing mud at a wall some of it will stick. He is generally highly predictable and indecisive in attack and basically puts a handbrake on any go forward. He doesn’t allow Burton and Crichton to get involved and Hayward just keeps going to Galvin. So there is no creativity, no dynamics, no unpredictability.

The try he scored the other week from Hayward assist shows exactly why he will be a backrower or lock in the future. But damn it’s funny watching the arrogance of Gus and Ciro refuse to make this guy go to Cup (remember he came straight into the team). May it continue.

The thing I love most about this situation is we could have kept Galvin here last year and this year and made him play state cup out of spite.

And that might have actually aided his development as a player and as a half.

Instead he heads to the bulldogs, ruins their season, unsettles the team, and destroys their attack. Plus there’s the added pressure on Ciraldo and Gould who are trying to tinker with every aspect of the team just to fit Galvin.

The bizarre media statements from Ciraldo is the cherry on top for me.

Stop bullying Lloyd. He has achieved so much in such a short time. He allegedly signed with the Doggies less than a year ago on 30/05/25, so in about twelve months he has sabotaged one WT's season and two Doggies' seasons with hopefully more to come. Keep this up for a decade on $1.4m and he could be the next Luke Brooks!

I don’t feel sorry for him. Hope he ends up playing a utility role in a lowly placed ESL club before he turns 22. Treacherous and self absorbed. Mitchell Moses like character without the talent.

Starting so young in first grade can really rob some young players of their personality. I feel like the same thing happened to Luke Brooks.

Even if he didn't see his future at our club, the smart, cynical move would have been to learn his trade here, get a free pass to lose games learning, and then leave.

He shouldn't be playing at 7. Its a stupid move. I'm quite surprised at what I'm seeing. They're better off dropping points with Gavin in his natural position than putting the pressure on him at 7 waiting for that other young half to get over his injury.

He doesn't know enough to be driving a potential top 4 roster around the paddock. It's too early and that pressure is going to really take something out of his game. He'll wind up like Brooksy just really focused on his own metrics, overthinking, playing really inward and not having the confidence to bring other people into a game.

Wait until he's 23 and then he's really going to get it.

The amount of dead play he creates like drop balls, ineffective kicks etc doesn't get talked about enough in the media and defensive reads lol, why is he so protected!

Luai might have a clause re that possibility

If there is any truth in what they have said about Luai having a big say in building "his" team, then I would say there is little chance that Lloyd will be joining him in PNG.

As a club we have problems but i am just so pleased this bloke is not one of them anymore,a petulant bloke with an inflated opinion of his own ability and he ignores the fact he is a liability in so many ways.
Only he can fix his attitude but it is unlikely while he continues to take the advice of his retinue of admirers.
